What the 43SH7E is built to do

The LG 43SH7E is a 43-inch signage display with a 1,920 x 1,080 Full HD panel and a typical brightness of 700 cd/m². It targets places where ambient light and steady foot traffic make ordinary screens hard to read, such as lobbies, concourses and queuing areas. The IPS panel keeps colours and tones consistent from wide viewing angles, so a menu or promotion reads the same from the entrance as it does from the counter.

LG has discontinued this model. Organisations that already operate SH7E units, or are adding to an existing fleet, should request a quotation so we can confirm which current or compatible replacement will match the installed displays.

Software, control and content management

The display runs the LG webOS signage platform, supports HTML5 web content and offers an SDK for integrators who build their own applications. An embedded CMS lets staff edit content, schedule playlists and group displays without a separate PC. Remote status checks and fault diagnosis are handled through the Signage 365 Care cloud service. Compatible software includes SuperSign CMS for content management and SuperSign Link for control and monitoring. OPS compatibility and external media player support let you add a dedicated player if your content is heavy.

A USB thermal printer can be connected to the display to issue tickets, a practical feature for queue management at banks, restaurants and airport counters. LG Presenter allows wireless screen sharing from Windows or macOS laptops for short internal meetings.

Where it fits in Qatar

A bank branch in West Bay or Msheireb can place the display in the queuing area to show rates and offers, with a thermal printer issuing customer tickets. A hotel or serviced apartment lobby in Lusail or The Pearl can use it for menus and events, but if the screen sits near glass, the 40°C upper limit matters: summer temperatures in Qatar often exceed 45°C, so the display should be in a fully air-conditioned space, away from direct sunlight. A government service hall in Doha can use it for wayfinding and queue information, managed centrally from one CMS.
