Picture quality and brightness that matter

A 700 nit typical rating gives the picture enough presence in lobbies and corridors that receive daylight through glass. The non-glossy frame and non-glare panel reduce distracting reflections for people walking past at an angle, and 178/178 degree viewing angles keep the image readable from the side. The Quantum Processor 4K upscales lower-resolution video towards UHD quality, so older clips and legacy feeds still look clean on a large screen. The 92% DCI-P3 colour gamut and 8ms response time help brand colours and moving content hold up.

The QH55B gives IT teams several ways to feed and control the screen. Its ports include:

SmartView+ lets a presenter share a Windows screen wirelessly, without a cable. The manufacturer notes that Android and iOS support depends on firmware. Planning the installation

The set measures 1,235.1 x 707.9 x 46.3 mm and weighs 19.2 kg, with a 200 x 200 mm VESA pattern. Samsung lists a WMN4070SG wall mount and an STN-L4355G stand as optional accessories. Bezels are 9.2 mm on the top, left and right and 11.2 mm at the bottom, and the terminals face outwards so the panel can sit flush against the wall. Power draw is 160 W in on mode and 0.5 W in sleep mode, with an energy efficiency class B rating. The operating range is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius, so keep the screen in air-conditioned rooms rather than unshaded outdoor frontages or hot store rooms during summer.
