It outputs 1920x1080 video through HDMI and VGA, runs on passive cooling for 24/7 operation, and has four USB 3.0 ports and gigabit LAN. It suits lobbies, retail floors and waiting areas across Qatar that need a quiet, always-on player. Request a quote from SmartRooms Qatar.

A silent media player for always-on signage

The TC-24FA-i35G is a compact media player for digital signage networks that run around the clock. Its aluminum chassis measures 140x135x35 mm and has a net weight of 0.55 kg, so it can sit behind a display, on a shelf or on a VESA-mounted bracket without taking up much room. Because the unit has no fan, there is no fan noise in a reception area or meeting room and no fan to clean or replace.

Processing, memory and storage you can specify

The player uses an i3 5th Generation processor. Memory can be configured from 2GB up to 32GB of RAM. Storage can be an mSATA module in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB or 512GB sizes, or a SATA drive in 500GB, 1TB or 2TB sizes. Solid-state and hard-disk options are offered, so you can match capacity to the number of playlists, video files and cloud-hosted content your site needs.

Video outputs, networking and remote management

Video leaves the player through one HDMI port and one VGA port. The product is marketed with dual Full HD graphics, so confirm your screen layout with SmartRooms Qatar before ordering if you plan more than one display. The wired RJ45 port supports 10/100/1000 Mbps with automatic speed selection. Wi-Fi is dual-band 802.11n on 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz, and Bluetooth is available as an option. The unit supports PXE boot, automatic power-on and Wake on LAN, which help IT teams start players from a central point across several sites.

Where it fits across Qatar

Shopping centre in Lusail: a looping promotional screen beside a store entrance, running through opening hours.
Clinic in Doha: patient information and queue updates in a waiting room, where a silent player avoids distraction.
Corporate lobby in Msheireb or West Bay: a bilingual welcome loop and visitor directory, managed from one schedule.
Hotel lobby at The Pearl: wayfinding and local event listings on a Full HD screen at reception.

What to plan before you order

Confirm the operating environment. The source data does not publish an operating temperature range, so ask SmartRooms Qatar to confirm suitability for enclosed cabinets or spaces that run hot during Qatar's summer.
Choose the operating system. A Windows 10 Pro trial is included by default, and licensed Windows 7, Windows 10 or Windows 10 Pro, Linux or DOS can be specified instead.
Plan the network. A wired RJ45 connection gives the most stable playback, with Wi-Fi as a backup.
Check the mounting. VESA mounting is available, so confirm the hole pattern against your display.

The TC-24FA-i35G carries a 2-year manufacturer warranty. Request a quote from SmartRooms Qatar with your operating system, memory, storage and any software option. We will confirm the configuration, delivery to any of Qatar's 8 municipalities and installation options in your quotation, which is usually issued within one working day.

Questions about TC-24FA-i35G

Is the TC-24FA-i35G suitable for a corporate lobby in Msheireb or West Bay?

Yes, for a lobby that needs a looping welcome or directory screen. The unit is a Full HD media player with a 15W power rating and passive cooling, so it runs continuously without fan noise at reception. The source data gives no operating temperature range, so confirm the room's climate with SmartRooms Qatar, and ask about bilingual content setup for your welcome loop.

Can it run continuously in a hot location during Qatar's summer?

The TC-24FA-i35G is built for 24/7 operation and uses passive cooling without a fan, which removes fan noise and fan maintenance. However, the source data does not publish an operating temperature range. Before installing it in a mall kiosk, a cabinet or any space that gets hot in summer, ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm the environment and ventilation for your site.

What processor, memory and storage can I specify?

The unit uses an i3 5th Generation processor. Memory supports 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB or 32GB of RAM depending on your configuration. Storage can be an mSATA module in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB or 512GB sizes, or a SATA drive in 500GB, 1TB or 2TB sizes. Tell us your playlist size and video library when requesting a quote so we can recommend the right combination.

How many screens can one player drive?

The product is marketed with dual Full HD graphics, and its video outputs are one HDMI port and one VGA port. The source data does not confirm how both outputs behave in every setup, so confirm your layout before ordering. For a two-screen menu board or a lobby with a main display and a side panel, the SmartRooms Qatar team can check the output arrangement against your plan.

Which operating systems are available?

The unit includes a Windows 10 Pro trial by default. Licensed Windows 7, Windows 10 or Windows 10 Pro can be specified instead, and Linux or DOS are also offered. If your signage software needs a particular operating system, state it in your enquiry so the configuration matches your software before the unit is delivered.

What networking and wireless options does it have?

There is one RJ45 port supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps with automatic speed selection, so a wired connection is available for stable playback. Wi-Fi is 802.11n dual band on 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz. Bluetooth is an optional extra, and integrated audio is listed. Where cabling is difficult, Wi-Fi helps, but a wired link is usually more reliable for 24/7 content.

Can IT teams start or manage players remotely?

The unit supports PXE boot, automatic power-on and Wake on LAN. PXE boot lets the player start from a network server, automatic power-on restarts it when power returns after an outage, and Wake on LAN lets your IT team power it on over the network. These features suit schools and government offices with several players, but confirm the content management software you need with SmartRooms Qatar.

Can a café in a Doha shopping mall use it to run a menu board?

Yes. A café or food court can use it for a menu board, since it outputs 1920x1080 video through HDMI and has a 15W power rating. Pair it with the digital signage software option, which includes 1GB of cloud server storage, to update prices-free menu content and promotions from one place. Confirm your screen size and mounting with the team before ordering.

Is it suitable for a clinic waiting area in Al Sadd?

A clinic waiting area benefits from a silent player, because fan noise can be distracting in a quiet room. The fanless design and 15W rating suit a continuously running queue or health-information loop on a Full HD screen. Ask SmartRooms Qatar to confirm the room's temperature and power arrangements, and whether the VESA mounting will suit your wall.

Can a school in Education City or Al Khor show bilingual announcements?

A school reception or corridor can use the player for announcements and a schedule loop. The source data does not list Arabic language support or fonts, which depend on the operating system and software you choose. Before ordering, tell SmartRooms Qatar that you need English and Arabic content, so we can confirm the operating system and software options for your display plan.

Would it work in a hotel lobby at The Pearl or a serviced apartment reception?

Yes, a lobby or reception can use it to show a welcome message, wayfinding or local events on a Full HD display. The quiet fanless build suits guest areas, and the compact 140x135x35 mm chassis fits behind a screen or in a joinery cupboard with room for cables. Confirm cupboard ventilation with the team, since no operating temperature range is published for this model.

How do I order, and what warranty applies?

The unit carries a 2-year manufacturer warranty. Request a quote from SmartRooms Qatar with the operating system, memory, storage and any software option you need. Quotations are usually issued within one working day, and we deliver to all 8 municipalities of Qatar. We accept purchase orders (LPOs) and government tenders, with payment by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order.
