What the Wallaby stand holds

The Wallaby Self-Service Stand is a base for Elo's 15-inch and 22-inch I-Series touchscreens. It supports I-Series units running Android on Qualcomm processors or Windows on Intel processors, and the screen can be set in portrait or landscape orientation. The range has two versions: a countertop stand (part E421137) for a reception or checkout desk, and a floor stand (parts E421325 and E797162) for a free-standing kiosk in a lobby or hall.

Each version ships with a 4-port USB 3.0 hub, a quick install guide, cable ties, mounting screws and display brackets for both Android and Windows I-Series units. Printer tray brackets and a display mounting bracket are sold as optional accessories, so confirm which ones your printer needs before ordering.

Payment, printing and peripherals

The base leaves space for a receipt printer and an EMV payment device, and the internal layout can also take a power supply or network switch. Compatible EMV cradles cover Verifone MX915, M400, MX925 and P400, Ingenico iSC250, RP757, iPP320/350/315, LANE3000 and LANE3600, Square Terminal and MagTek eDynamo, among others. Supported printers include Epson TM-T88, Star TSP100 and TSP654, Bixolon SRP-350 and SRP-350 PlusIII, and Epson M30, TM90L and Star TSP700 with their listed tray brackets.

Planning the site and power

The stand's operating range is 0°C to 40°C at 20% to 80% humidity. Place it in an air-conditioned indoor area rather than near a window or open entrance, where summer heat above 45°C and dust storms can reach it. Storage is rated from -20°C to 60°C. The floor stand is substantial: the top weighs 18.5 kg and the base 12.4 kg unpackaged, and the assembly stands 1192.8 mm tall, so plan a level, clear footprint and allow two people for lifting. The countertop unit measures 431.96 mm high and weighs 11.2 kg unpackaged.

Connectivity and remote management

The I-Series connects over Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0 or wired Ethernet. For Android units, EloView lets IT teams deploy content, manage settings and maintain the operating system across multiple sites from one place. It is designed to work alongside existing CMS and MDM platforms, which suits a school, hospital group or retailer running several kiosks.
