A 0.9 mm bezel for continuous wall content

The LG 55VM5E-A is a 55-inch LCD panel designed to be tiled into video walls. Each unit has a 0.9 mm even bezel, and two panels placed side by side leave a 1.8 mm gap between their edges. On a wall, that narrow join means text, graphics and moving images cross from one screen to the next with less visible interruption than on wider-framed displays.

Each screen provides 1920 x 1080 full HD resolution and 500 nits typical brightness. The IPS panel keeps colour consistent when viewed from the side or from a different height, which matters on walls that sit above eye level and are watched from across a lobby or hall.

Built-in signage playback and wall control

A built-in SoC and the webOS smart signage platform let the screen run its own content, so a separate media player is not required for playback. Where a wall needs a dedicated computer, the unit is OPS compatible in piggyback form, and the manufacturer lists an optional OPS kit (KT-OPSF).

For larger installations, a LAN daisy chain sends commands to every panel in the wall and can update firmware across all units at once. Connectivity includes:

The stated operating range is 0 to 40 °C at 10 to 80% humidity.
