A discontinued 75-inch 4K display for indoor signage

The Hisense 75B4E30T is a 75-inch 4K UHD digital signage display from the B4E30T series, built for indoor areas that show content for long hours. Hisense has discontinued this model, so the people searching for it are usually organisations that already run units, buyers comparing it with newer displays, and facilities teams that need a like-for-like replacement. SmartRooms Qatar can quote a current equivalent or a compatible replacement for any of these needs.

Picture quality and brightness in practice

The screen uses an IPS panel with DLED backlighting at 3840 x 2160 resolution. Typical brightness is 500 nits and typical contrast is 1200:1, which keeps text and images readable in a bright lobby or shop front during daytime. The 178° viewing angle means people walking past at a side angle still see the same image. The 60Hz refresh rate suits static menus, promotions and looping video.

• Panel: IPS with DLED backlight, 3840 x 2160 pixels
• Brightness: 500 nits typical, 1200:1 typical contrast
• Viewing: 178° angle with landscape or portrait orientation
• Rated life: 50,000 hours

Playback, control and connectivity

The display runs Android 8.0 on a dual-core system on chip and can store and play media from its internal memory, so a PC is not required for a looping schedule. A TF card slot adds a local storage option. For central management, Hisense's CMS platform edits playlists, plays rich media in sync across many displays, and reports status so staff can react to a fault or emergency from one place. The unit connects over 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi or a 10/100Mbps LAN port, an RS232 port with RJ45 connector allows external control, and an IR remote is supplied. Automatic time zone sync keeps schedules aligned when it is online.

Where it fits in Qatar

A retail unit on a West Bay shopping street can run promotions and opening-hour messages on a screen whose 18/7 operation rating supports long trading days. A corporate reception in Lusail or Msheireb can show visitor information and meeting room schedules to staff and guests arriving from different angles. A private clinic in Al Sadd can display health content in its waiting area. In each case the display should sit inside an air-conditioned interior space.

Planning the installation and requesting a quote

• Net weight is 37.6 kg, so wall mounting needs a bracket matched to the 600 x 400 mm VESA pattern and a wall check.
• Set dimensions are 1683.5 x 961.7 x 69.5 mm with 14.9 mm bezels on all four sides.
• Operating range is 0 to 40°C and 20% to 80% humidity, well below Qatar summer temperatures above 45°C, so keep it indoors and air-conditioned.
• Input is 100-240V at 50-60Hz, with 230W power consumption and standby below 0.5W.
• The box includes a user manual, remote with battery, power cord, RS232 cable and HDMI cable.

Listed certifications are CB, CE, ERP, RCM, FCC, IC, CEC and cTUVus, and products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. A free site survey before installation confirms wall structure, cable routes and power point position, which matters for a 75-inch panel of this weight. Because this model is discontinued, request a quote for a current equivalent or a compatible replacement.
