UW105NA

A 105-inch 21:9 canvas for wide content

The MAXHUB UW105NA is a landscape display with a 105-inch diagonal and a 21:9 aspect ratio, which gives a much wider working area than a conventional widescreen panel of the same height. Its 5120 x 2160 native resolution lets a control room, a lobby information wall or a boardroom show several sources side by side without shrinking any of them. The VA panel delivers a typical brightness of 400 nits and a 4000:1 contrast ratio, while the 25% haze anti-glare finish helps the picture stay readable when windows or ceiling lights are nearby.

Viewing angles are rated at 178 degrees horizontally and vertically, so people seated at the sides of a long table can still read the same content. The display has a 6.5 ms response time and a 60Hz refresh rate. It is rated for 16 hours a day, seven days a week, with a panel lifetime of at least 50,000 hours.

Connections, built-in player and control

Three HDMI 2.0 inputs and one HDMI 2.1 input cover laptops, cameras and media players, and a DisplayPort input accepts the full 5120 x 2160 signal at 60Hz. A USB Type-C port rated for 100W Power Delivery can power a laptop while it connects, and four USB 3.0 Type-A ports and one USB 2.0 port serve peripherals. An RJ45 input and output, an HDMI 2.0 output, optical SPDIF and a 3.5 mm audio output let the screen feed or join other systems. RS232 and an IR receiver handle control from a room system.

The internal player runs Android 13 with 8GB memory and 64GB storage, so signage playlists and wayfinding content can run without a separate PC. For a Windows environment, the OPS slot accepts an optional OPS62A or OPS72A module, and the display switches between the two operating systems. The Wi-Fi module is removable and supports Wi-Fi 6 on 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. The manufacturer states the series is Crestron Connected certified, and MAXHUB Pivot handles remote device management.

Where it fits in Qatar

Government reception in West Bay. A ministry or authority lobby can use the wide panel for visitor information, service queue numbers and announcements. The 105-inch width fills a feature wall, and the built-in player runs the content without a media computer at the front desk.

Operations room in the Industrial Area. A shift team monitoring several live feeds and dashboards can keep them side by side on one screen. The 16/7 operating rating matches round-the-clock shift work, provided the room is air-conditioned.

Hybrid boardroom in Education City. A university meeting room connecting with partners abroad can place remote participants on one side and presentation slides on the other. The manufacturer positions the series for Microsoft Teams Rooms spaces, and MAXHUB Share lets up to nine devices share to the screen.

Keep the display in an air-conditioned room. Its operating range is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius with 10 to 90% relative humidity, and Qatar summers regularly pass 45 degrees, so a unit in a hot entrance or close to a glazed facade needs an environment check first. Confirm the location with the SmartRooms Qatar team before fixing the bracket.
