QB13C

A 13-inch display for places where space is limited

The Samsung QB13C is a small-format digital signage display for positions a larger screen would crowd out: a reception shelf, a lift lobby, a corridor wall beside a meeting room, or a service counter where staff post opening hours, queue information or directions. Its body measures 322 x 193.5 x 19.9 mm, so it adds little depth to a wall or desktop installation.

The facts that matter when you specify it

The 1920 x 1080 panel gives full HD detail on a 13-inch screen, with a 0.153 mm pixel pitch that keeps small text clear at close viewing distance. Typical brightness is 500 nit, and the 170/170 degree viewing angles mean people standing beside a counter can still read the content. Other points to check on the specification sheet include:

• Connectivity: one HDMI 1.4 input, one USB port, RJ45 and RS232 inputs, Wi-Fi on 2.4GHz and 5GHz, and Bluetooth.
• Operation: rated for 16/7 operation, 0 to 40°C and 10 to 80 percent humidity, non-condensing.
• Power: AC 100 to 240 V at 50/60 Hz, with 35 W typical on-mode draw and 0.5 W in sleep mode.
• Software: Tizen 7.0 with 8 GB of flash memory, and Home UI for quicker access to frequently used tools.

Where it fits in Qatar

A private clinic in Al Sadd might place one at the reception desk to show queue numbers and clinic hours, where the compact body fits beside the counter without crowding the waiting area. A hotel in West Bay could use one in a lift lobby or at a corridor junction, using Home UI and remote management to refresh guest messages from the front office. In Lusail, a multi-floor school could mount units at corridor junctions to guide students and visitors through the building.

What to plan before ordering

Choose a location out of direct sunlight and away from air-conditioning outlets that blow straight at the screen. Keep the QB13C in air-conditioned interiors: Qatar summer temperatures outdoors regularly exceed 45°C, well above the 40°C upper limit. Mounting uses a 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern, the optional WMN-2090SC wall mount is listed for this model, and two simple stands come with each unit. Plan the cable route for the HDMI feed and network connection before fixing the panel. A free site survey from SmartRooms Qatar can confirm wall type, cable runs and lighting before you commit.
