Organisations use the QM65H to show wayfinding, announcements, menus and promotional content on a screen that runs through working hours. It belongs to the QMH Series of signage displays, so it is intended for content viewed by visitors and staff rather than for hands-on annotation at a classroom desk.

Picture quality and brightness for public viewing

The 3,840 x 2,160 panel carries four times the pixel count of Full HD, which keeps text and fine graphics sharp at 65 inches. Typical brightness is rated at 500 and contrast at 4,700:1, while the 178/178 viewing angle keeps content readable from the side of a lobby or corridor. The front uses a non-glare panel with 25% glass haze, which helps where daylight from windows or ceiling lights would otherwise wash out the picture.

Connectivity and video wall planning

The rear panel provides two HDMI inputs, one DisplayPort input, one DVI input, two USB ports, an RJ45 input, an IR input and an audio input, along with a stereo mini jack audio output and video out. RS232 in and out allow control from a building management or AV system, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built in. The MagicInfo daisy-chain function supports multi-display UHD layouts up to 2x2. Each panel has a 12.0 mm bezel on all sides, which keeps the gaps narrow when several units are tiled together. The unit has no HDBaseT input and no RJ45 output, so plan long cable runs and daisy-chain cabling carefully.

Power, heat and placement in Qatar

The power input is rated at 100 to 240 V at 50/60 Hz, which covers Qatar mains at 240 V and 50 Hz. Typical on-mode consumption is 198 W, sleep mode draws 0.5 W, and the energy efficiency rating is A+. The operating range is 0 to 40 °C with 10 to 80% humidity. Summer temperatures in Qatar regularly rise above 45 °C, so the QM65H should sit inside air-conditioned space, out of direct sunlight and away from open entrances. The manufacturer states IP5x dust validation, which helps in dusty conditions, but operation is not guaranteed against certain dust types such as metal dust.
