Overview
The Clevertouch Edge 65-inch is a 4K interactive display that brings touch writing, a top-mounted 48 MP Sony camera, two 20W front speakers and an eight-element microphone array into one panel. Its 40-point FlatFrog InGlass touch works with pen and finger, and it suits small and mid-size meeting rooms, classrooms and training spaces in Doha, West Bay and Al Wakrah that hold hybrid calls and need one device instead of several.
What the Clevertouch Edge 65" does in a room
The Clevertouch Edge 65" is a 65-inch interactive display with a 4K LCD panel at 3,840 x 2,160, 500 cd/m2 brightness and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It combines writing, video calling, presentations and digital content on one screen, so a meeting room does not need a separate camera, speakerphone and display.
The specifications that matter in practice
- Camera: a top-mounted 48 MP Sony 4K camera with a 90° field of view, face-based auto tracking, electronic pan, tilt and zoom, and a 5 m focus distance.
- Audio: two 20W front-facing speakers, two 10W subwoofers and an eight-element noise-cancelling microphone array with pickup up to 8 m.
- Touch and writing: FlatFrog InGlass IR technology with 40 continuous touch points, under 1 mm touch accuracy, palm rejection and pen-and-touch differentiation. Two pens are supplied.
- Glass: 3 mm anti-glare, anti-smudge tempered glass rated Mohs level 7, with antibacterial glass and an antibacterial power button.
- Computing: 8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, an Intel-spec OPS slot and 100W front USB-C charging.
Where it fits across Qatar
A consultancy in West Bay with a 10 to 12 person meeting room that takes calls with colleagues in Europe and Asia can use the camera tracking and the 8 m microphone pickup to keep the discussion clear from one end of the table to the other. A private school in Al Wakrah fitting out classrooms and staff meeting rooms can use the touch surface for annotated lessons and the Android apps for classroom tools. A training centre near Education City running a mid-size training room can show slides and remote participants on the same screen, with the speakers covering the room without extra hardware.
What to plan before installation
The operating range is 0 to 40°C, while Qatari summer temperatures often exceed 45°C, so the room must be air-conditioned and the panel should not sit near windows or in unconditioned spaces. The panel measures 1510 x 937 x 83 mm and weighs 40.6 kg net and 49.5 kg packed, with a 600 x 400 mm VESA mount pattern. Its power rating of 100-240V 50/60Hz covers Qatar's 240 V supply, with typical consumption of 98W and standby at or below 0.5W. Because of the weight, we recommend a free site survey to check the wall, the mount and the cable routes before installation by a qualified installer.

Is the Clevertouch Edge 65" a TV or a complete meeting room system?
It is a complete meeting room system in one unit. The 65-inch 4K panel takes touch and pen input, while the top-mounted 48 MP camera, two 20W front speakers and an eight-element microphone array handle video calls. A small or mid-size room in Doha can run hybrid meetings without buying a separate conference kit.
Which video calling platforms does the camera work with?
The camera is listed as adapting to mainstream cloud meeting apps, and the software lists certified access to Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and Zoom. The 4K camera supports 4K video, uses face detection for auto tracking and offers electronic pan, tilt and zoom. Confirm your exact platform and licence requirements in the quotation before ordering.
What room size suits the 65-inch model?
The 65-inch model suits small and mid-size rooms, such as a huddle room or a 10 to 12 person meeting room in West Bay. The camera's listed focus distance is 5 m and the microphones are rated for pickup up to 8 m, so plan seating so the furthest participant stays within those limits. For larger rooms, ask SmartRooms Qatar to recommend a bigger size from the Edge range.
Do we need to connect a separate PC or laptop?
No. The panel runs its own Android system with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, and it can switch between Android and PC mode. Laptops connect through HDMI, USB-C or DisplayPort inputs. An Intel Windows OPS module can be fitted through the OPS slot, and Clevertouch OPS i5 and OPS i7 modules are listed as options.
Can the panel be wall-mounted, and what should we plan for?
Yes, it uses a 600 x 400 mm VESA mount pattern. The panel measures 1510 x 937 x 83 mm and weighs 40.6 kg net and 49.5 kg packed, so the wall must carry that load and two people should handle lifting. SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey to check the wall, cabling and sockets before professional installation.
Will it operate in Doha's summer heat?
The listed operating range is 0 to 40°C at 10 to 90% relative humidity, and storage is rated from -20 to 60°C. Qatari summer temperatures often exceed 45°C outdoors, so install the panel in an air-conditioned room away from direct sunlight and windows. Ask your installer to confirm the room's cooling capacity before fitting.
What power does it need, and does it suit Qatar's 240 V supply?
The power requirement is 100-240V at 50/60Hz, which covers Qatar's 240 V, 50 Hz mains. Typical consumption for the 65-inch model is 98W, and standby is at or below 0.5W. The panel is fanless, which keeps noise low in quiet meeting rooms. Confirm the socket and plug arrangement for your site in the quotation.
How does the touch and writing performance work when several people use it?
The FlatFrog InGlass IR system supports 40 continuous touch points, with touch accuracy below 1 mm and a minimum detected object size of 2 mm. Palm rejection and pen-and-touch differentiation let a presenter write with a pen while others touch with a finger. Two dual recognition styluses are supplied with the panel.
Can it be used for digital signage in a lobby or reception?
The Edge software includes CleverLive embedded digital signage, which lets you update screens from a cloud portal. Environment still matters: the 0 to 40°C operating range suits an air-conditioned reception area rather than an open entrance. A realistic setting is an office lobby in a Doha tower or a hotel reception in The Pearl, with content scheduled from one login.
How are several panels managed across the network?
Remote management is listed as MDM with a one-year licence, and over-the-air updates are supported. IT administrators can control displays from another location, and Intelligent O&M features support fleet oversight. For a school or ministry rolling out several panels, confirm the licence duration and renewal terms in your quotation.
We are a school in Al Wakrah ordering several units. How do we buy?
Schools and government bodies can issue a purchase order or LPO for the quantity required, and payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. Send your room list and wall types, and SmartRooms Qatar will prepare a quotation, usually within one working day, covering delivery to all eight municipalities and professional installation.
