The Dahua LDV65-EAO400L is a floor-standing LCD sign designed for portrait installation. Its 9:16 screen runs at 2160 by 3840 pixels, which suits menus, wayfinding boards, queue information and vertical advertising. The metal casing is black, the unit is fan-cooled and it is rated IP55 for dust and water-jet protection, so the placement still needs checking against the site's exposure. The IPS panel uses DLED backlighting and delivers typical brightness of 2,500 cd/m² and typical contrast of 1,200:1. Its 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles let people read content from the side as well as head-on, which helps in corridors and lobbies. Colour is 10-bit, produced as 8-bit plus FRC, with an 8 ms typical response time. Inside, a quad-core A55 processor at 1.92 GHz works with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage under Android 11.0. The unit decodes H.265 and VP9 video up to 2160p at 60 fps, and H.264 up to 2160p at 30 fps.

Scheduling, split-screen layouts and remote control

Content is managed through a B/S (browser/server) platform. Programs can be scheduled by time and by location, and the system produces operation reports so a facilities team can confirm what played and when. The intelligent split-screen feature lets you rearrange zones on the portrait canvas, for example a timetable above and a news ticker below.
