The Peerless-AV KIPC2565B-S-EUK is a freestanding enclosure for indoor use, designed to hold one 65-inch display in portrait orientation. The display is not part of the package, so the kiosk should be planned as the housing, the mount and the internal space around the screen. It stands 219.35 cm tall, 101.60 cm wide and 53.34 cm deep, and weighs approximately 110.22 kg before any equipment is added.

The unit arrives pre-assembled, so installation on site is a matter of positioning it, levelling it, fitting the display mount and connecting equipment, rather than building a frame. The box contains the kiosk, a display mount, mounting hardware and installation instructions.

Construction and fit-out details that matter

The enclosure is made from steel with a silver powder-coated finish, which the manufacturer describes as corrosion resistant for indoor environments. The display window accepts panels up to 46 mm (1.81 inches) thick, so both slim and deeper commercial screens can be fitted. Internal micro-adjustments help align the display flush with the window, and the height and depth can be adjusted. A flat base and a keyed alike lock complete the main hardware.

Heat is managed by two thermostat-controlled fans that exhaust warm air from inside the enclosure. Secured doors give access to the display, the media player and other internal parts, and an internal component tray holds the equipment. The enclosure also has room for a camera and an interactive touch system, so one unit can form a complete self-service or wayfinding station.

Because the unit stands on its own base, it needs a floor position that suits foot traffic.
