TD-43DKF

A double-sided 43-inch kiosk for continuous indoor displays

The Trend TD-43DKF is a freestanding kiosk with a 43-inch Full HD TFT display facing each direction, so one unit can show the same message to people approaching from either side. Each panel is listed at 1920x1080 resolution and 400 cd/m2 brightness, and the manufacturer specifies it for indoor application only. That makes it a practical choice for air-conditioned malls, lobbies, halls and corridors where foot traffic is steady.

Specifications that matter for round-the-clock use

The kiosk is rated for 24/7 operation and carries an MTBF figure of 50000 in the manufacturer data. The TFT panel has a 0.227 mm pixel pitch, a typical grey-to-grey response time of 6 ms and a listed viewing angle of 89 degrees in each of four directions. Colour is listed at 16.7 million and 1.07 billion shades with 95% CIE1931 coverage.

Playback, memory and touch options

The standard build includes an integrated Android media player, listed with Android 5.1 or 7.1, 2GB RAM and 8GB storage, plus 8GB of EMMC flash built-in memory. Buyers who need a Windows-based player can specify an integrated option with an i3, i5 or i7 processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD. Touch is optional, available as IR or capacitive for the 43-inch screen. If you already run a PC or media box, the no-player configuration offers an HDMI input instead.

Where it fits in Qatar

• Shopping malls in West Bay or Lusail: a double-sided unit in a main walkway reaches shoppers coming from both directions with promotions and wayfinding.
• Hotel lobbies in The Pearl or Msheireb: welcome and event content can face the lift lobby and the front desk at the same time.
• Corporate reception or government service halls: visitor information and service announcements can run on both sides of a busy hall.

What to plan before you order

Start with the location. The data does not give an operating temperature range, so confirm with the SmartRooms Qatar team that the spot is an indoor, air-conditioned space, particularly where it sits near entrances or glass during summers above 45 degrees Celsius. Measure the footprint for a freestanding unit and check that the nearest power point suits the 10V~240V input range listed in the data. SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey, which is a useful step before a unit goes into a busy walkway.

Decide the configuration before requesting a quote, because memory, storage, player type and touch type all change what you receive. The unit carries the manufacturer's 1-year warranty. Quotations are usually issued within one working day, and public bodies and companies can order with a purchase order or LPO. Request a quote with your preferred configuration, and SmartRooms Qatar will confirm the stock-based lead time in the quotation.
