What this 49-inch outdoor kiosk is built to do

The Trend TD-49OKTF65 is a free-standing 49-inch kiosk for digital signage that has to work outdoors around the clock. Its 9:16 portrait Full HD panel at 1920x1080 suits menus, wayfinding, promotions and public information shown in a vertical format. The enclosure is a SPCC metal box built from 1.5 mm galvanized steel, and the front glass is high-permeability with an anti-theft construction.

Brightness, cooling and weather protection in Qatar

Outdoor screens must stay readable in daylight, and this model is rated at 1500-2000 cd/m² with an LG high-brightness backlight and a 1200:1 contrast ratio. The 178-degree viewing angle keeps content legible from a pavement or a car park entrance. The IP65 rating protects against dust and water jets, which is relevant during Qatar dust storms and rain.

The rated operating range is -30 to 50 °C, and the storage range is -40 to 60 °C. The standard unit uses an air cooling system to manage internal heat. The manufacturer recommends air-conditioned models where ambient temperatures go above 50 °C. Media player, connectivity and remote content management

The standard configuration includes an integrated Android RK3288 player with 2GB RAM, 8GB storage and Android 5.1 or 7.1. Buyers can choose more memory and storage, or a Windows media player option with an i3, i5 or i7 processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD. A version without a media player, with HDMI input, is also available.
