How the dual-lens setup frames a room

The C60 places two separate lenses in one housing. The close-up lens is a 1080P unit with 12x optical zoom and 16x digital zoom, suited to a presenter, a speaker or a whiteboard. The panoramic lens, also 1080P, offers a 110° horizontal field of view so the full room stays in shot. Both lenses use a 1/2.8-inch CMOS sensor with 2.14 megapixels, and the close-up lens has an aperture of F1.6 to F2.8.

Because wide and close views come from one camera, a meeting room does not need separate devices for overview shots and detail shots. The unit pans from -130° to +130° and tilts from -30° to +90°, and it stores 64 preset points so staff can recall common seating positions or board locations with one touch.

Tracking, voice pickup and control

An 8-array smart microphone captures speech, with a direction-of-arrival accuracy below 5° and a maximum detection distance of 8 m. The AI tracking modes include speaker tracking, presenter tracking, whiteboard tracking and automatic framing. Offline voice commands let a user switch between modes without calling a technician, and a privacy mode is included.

What to plan before ordering

The C60 can be desktop mounted, mounted above the screen, placed on a tripod or wall mounted. Choose a position that gives the panoramic lens a clear view of the seating area. Its operating temperature range is 0 to 40°C, so install it in an air-conditioned room rather than in an outdoor, lobby or unconditioned space exposed to Qatar summer heat. For larger rooms, ceiling microphones MC10 or MC08, the matrix array mic MA600D and the MT100 audio-video tracking box can be combined with the C60; these are separate accessories.

Connectivity includes a 10/100M RJ-45 PoE network port, HDMI out, 3G-SDI, USB 3.0 Type-B, USB 2.0 Type-A host, a 3.5mm line input, RS-485 and RS-232 control ports, with VISCA as the control protocol. Power draw is below 20 W from the DC12V supply, and the box includes the power adapter and two batteries.
