What the Apprimo TEC-X 2000 White does inside a room

The Apprimo TEC-X 2000 White is a wall-mounted control pad for Biamp Tesira systems. In place of a crowded button panel, the room gets a 3.8-inch capacitive touch LCD that displays up to 12 on-screen buttons, along with readable text and status messages. The white finish suits light walls in offices, classrooms and hotel meeting rooms.

Buttons are defined in Tesira design software, so the layout can be changed when a room's purpose changes. A boardroom converted into a training room, for example, needs a new button layout rather than new hardware. Display brightness adjusts automatically to the ambient light level, and an RGB LED bar with adjustable brightness can be assigned to show mute and system state.
