What the Devio DCM-1 White does on a conference table

The Biamp Devio DCM-1 White is a pendant conferencing microphone that hangs above the table and listens to everyone seated around it. Its Beamtracking technology splits pickup into three 120-degree zones, which gives the microphone full 360-degree coverage of the room. Rather than relying on a fixed beam, it follows the people who are speaking and blends their voices into one feed, so far-end participants hear a natural conversation instead of voices fading in and out.

The pickup is built on an 8-element digital array with active beamforming.
