What the Devio UCX 3000 XL bundle includes

This bundle pairs the Devio UCX 3000 meeting room hub with the Vidi 280 camera, a tabletop controller and a full audio set, so a room can be equipped from one order. The Devio UCX 3000 is an Android-powered hub that runs Microsoft Teams Rooms. It also brings professional Biamp DSP, dual-display support and a USB-C connection for bringing a laptop into a meeting and sharing content.

The package contains:

• Devio UCX 3000 meeting room hub with Microsoft Teams Rooms compute
• Apprimo Touch 10 UCX-T tabletop controller for meeting control at the table
• Vidi 280 room camera
• Two Parlé DTM-X tabletop Beamtracking microphones
• Devio DPA-450BP amplifier with four Desono C-IC6 ceiling loudspeakers
• Devio UCX 240W power supply

Microphone and audio coverage for a larger table

A single tabletop microphone suits a small table. Two Parlé DTM-X units widen pickup along a longer table, which helps participants at the far end of a boardroom be heard without raising their voices. The four Desono C-IC6 ceiling loudspeakers are fed by the Devio DPA-450BP amplifier and are intended to give even coverage across the room, so remote participants sound consistent wherever they sit. Because the loudspeakers are ceiling-mounted, the room layout and ceiling type decide their final positions, which is why a site survey comes first.

Where this bundle fits in Qatar

Consider a boardroom in West Bay where a management team meets clients in Doha and colleagues in Europe within the same session. The Vidi 280 camera provides the room view, the Teams Rooms hub runs the call, and the ceiling speakers keep voices from the far side clear across a room of this size.

A university seminar room in Education City hosting a hybrid lecture or thesis defence is another good fit. The two tabletop microphones pick up panel members seated along a long table, and dual-display support gives the room one screen for the call and another for presentation content. A ministry or authority meeting room in Msheireb, where Arabic and English speakers sit side by side during a Sunday to Thursday working week, benefits from a single controller that starts every meeting the same way.

What to plan before installation

• Measure the table length and ceiling type so the two microphones and four loudspeakers can be placed correctly.
• Confirm the camera position so that every seat is in frame.
• Plan cable routes for the ceiling loudspeakers, amplifier, hub and display connections.
• Check power provision for the hub, amplifier and 240W power supply with the SmartRooms Qatar team.
• Confirm the room environment. The source data does not give an operating temperature range, so the SmartRooms Qatar team should review it before installation.
