What the Devio SCR-20CX Black is for

The Devio SCR-20CX Black is a conferencing hub built for huddle rooms and small conference rooms where a PC already runs the meeting software. It is sold as a bundle: one Devio SCR-20 hub and one TCM-XEX black ceiling microphone with 360-degree coverage. The hub works alongside the PC rather than replacing it, so staff keep the apps they already use while remote participants hear the room more naturally.

Audio and microphone performance

The microphone uses Beamtracking technology, and the hub applies professional-grade DSP to shape the sound. Auto Setup checks the connections, adjusts room levels and sets speaker EQ, which reduces the manual tuning that an IT or facilities team must do after installation. The key audio figures are:

Compatibility, connections and management

The hub works with Windows and Mac PCs and uses standard audio drivers, supporting Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and other web-based conferencing platforms. For video, it offers driverless pass-through HDMI to one in-room display. Two monitors can be driven over USB video using DisplayLink graphics, which requires the DisplayLink driver on the laptop and supports Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. The 4K output of 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz is available on Output Port 1 only.

The network connection is RJ-45 with Cat 5e or higher Ethernet cable. IT teams can monitor and manage each unit remotely via SNMP or the Devio System Administration Utility, and schedule firmware updates across several Devio units at once.
