What the SCR-20T kit includes

The SCR-20T is supplied as a kit. It contains one Devio SCR-20 conferencing hub and one DTM-1 tabletop microphone with 360-degree coverage, so a meeting room can be equipped from a single order. The hub includes a mounting bracket for under-table installation, which keeps the unit out of sight and frees up table space for participants.

The microphone is the part people see and use. Its 360-degree pickup means one device can serve everyone seated around a table, while the hub handles processing and call integration behind the scenes.

Audio and room set-up in practice

The Devio range uses Beamtracking microphones and professional-grade DSP to optimise audio, so far-end participants hear a conversation as it happens in the room rather than a flat, distant pickup. When the hub is first set up, Auto Setup checks device connections, adjusts room levels and sets speaker EQ, which helps the room sound right from the start.

The built-in amplifier provides 20 W continuous output on a single channel and needs a load of at least 4 ohms. Where a room already has speakers, the hub can send audio through HDMI or RCA line out instead.

Connecting laptops, displays and speakers

The SCR-20T works with PCs running Windows or Mac and uses standard audio drivers. It is compatible with web-based conferencing platforms including Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet, and it supports a bring-your-own-device approach or a dedicated in-room PC.

A single in-room display connects through driverless HDMI pass-through. For two monitors, USB video uses DisplayLink graphics, which requires the DisplayLink driver on the laptop and supports Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. Video output reaches 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz on Output Port 1 only, and HDMI supports HDCP 1.4. The network connection is RJ-45 with Cat 5e cable or better.

For administrators, the hub can be monitored and managed remotely over SNMP or through the Devio System Administration Utility. The utility lets teams schedule firmware updates and deploy them to several Devio units, which suits a school or authority with many meeting rooms.

Before ordering, confirm that the display has an HDMI input, that a network port is available near the table, and that a 24V DC 60W power source can reach the hub. The ambient operating range is 0 to 40°C with 0 to 95% non-condensing humidity.
