The Biamp Devio SCR-25C White pairs the Devio SCR-25 conferencing hub with a white DCM-1 pendant microphone in one package. It is designed for huddle rooms and small conference rooms where people join web-based calls from a laptop or a dedicated room PC, and where the room needs clear sound without a ceiling array or a separate DSP rack.
The hub's Auto Setup checks device connections, adjusts room levels and sets speaker EQ on its own. The microphone offers 360-degree pickup, and Beamtracking microphone processing, supported by professional-grade DSP, lets remote participants hear the conversation at natural levels.
Connections and software that matter to IT teams
Devio works with PCs running Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Cisco Webex and BlueJeans, on both Windows and Mac. It uses standard audio drivers, so the audio path needs no special software. A single in-room display connects over HDMI without a driver. Two monitors can be fed over USB video using DisplayLink graphics, which requires the DisplayLink driver on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10.
The 4K output (3840 x 2160p at 30 Hz) is available on output port 1 only. The unit has an RJ-45 network port for Cat 5e or higher cable. Administrators can monitor it over SNMP or with the Devio System Administration Utility, and schedule firmware updates to several units at once. Bluetooth 4.2 allows calls from a mobile phone, with a wireless range of up to 100 feet (30 m).
