The Biamp Devio SCR-25TX White is sold as a matched set: one Devio SCR-25 conferencing hub and one white TTM-XEX tabletop microphone with 360-degree pickup. It is built for huddle rooms and small conference rooms, where a few people sit around one table and need the far end of a web call to hear them clearly. The hub handles the audio processing, so the microphone is the only item that sits on the table.

How the audio is processed in the room

The microphone uses Beamtracking technology, and the hub applies professional-grade digital signal processing to the sound. Auto Setup checks device connections, adjusts room levels and sets speaker equalisation, which reduces the manual tuning a small room would otherwise need. Green or red LEDs on the front panel show microphone status, room tuning and power, so staff can see at a glance whether the microphone is live.

When sound is sent out of the room, the built-in amplifier provides 20 W of continuous output into a minimum 4 Ω load. Speaker options include HDMI audio, the built-in amplifier or an RCA line output, so the hub can feed a room loudspeaker system if one is needed.

Connecting it to PCs, displays and the network

The hub works with Windows and Mac computers and uses standard audio drivers.
