Devio UCC-UCX1000-T

What the Devio UCC-UCX1000-T bundle includes

This bundle combines two Biamp devices: the Devio UCX 1000 meeting room hub and the Apprimo Touch 10 UCX-T tabletop touch controller. Item number 930-00011 covers the complete set, so a huddle room can be specified as one line on a quotation rather than assembled from separate parts.

The hub provides onboard unified communications compute for Microsoft Teams Rooms. It also includes professional Biamp DSP for room audio processing, support for a single display, and a USB-C port for bring-your-own-meeting (BYOM) and content sharing.

How the hub and controller work together

The Devio UCX 1000 runs the room's processing and connectivity and powers room peripherals from a single point through PoE+ and USB. This reduces the number of separate power adaptors that need to be placed on a meeting table or behind a wall plate.

The Apprimo Touch 10 UCX-T gives the meeting host a 10-inch touch surface on the table. It uses responsive capacitive touch, wakes when someone approaches, has an anti-fingerprint coating to keep the glass clear, and installs with a single cable.

• Display: single-display support for small-room layouts
• Audio: Biamp DSP for room audio processing
• Content: USB-C for BYOM and content sharing
• Power: PoE+ and USB from one point
• Management: integrated with Biamp Workplace for installation, remote monitoring and management

Where it fits in Qatar

A private school in Al Wakrah fitting out a staff meeting room or a leadership office can use the bundle for short, structured meetings with a single controller at the table. Its single-display design suits rooms where one screen is the right size.

In West Bay or The Pearl, a consultancy or real estate developer's huddle room can host regular calls with teams abroad from one tabletop control point, keeping the room tidy and reducing the time spent setting up each call.

A team in the Industrial Area or Mesaieed that holds weekly coordination meetings with head office can use the USB-C port to share a laptop screen or document, while the hub handles the Microsoft Teams Rooms session.

Planning the room before you order

Confirm the number of participants and the display you plan to use, because the bundle is designed around single-display support. Rooms that need several screens will require a different configuration. Plan the cable route from the table to the hub and the controller's single cable run before installation.

SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey to check cable routes, table layout and the position of the hub. The source data does not list an operating temperature range for this bundle, so confirm the room environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before installing in a space that is not air-conditioned. Confirm your Microsoft licensing requirements at the same time.

Request a quote from SmartRooms Qatar with your room size, number of participants and display details. We usually respond with a quotation within one working day, and we accept purchase orders (LPOs) and government tenders.
