MRB-L-SCX400-C

What the bundle contains

The Biamp MRB-L-SCX400-C is a complete audio bundle for a conference room of up to 18 people. Instead of sourcing a processor, microphones, loudspeakers and cabling from separate suppliers, the buyer receives one matched set. At its centre is the Devio SCX 400 Conference Room Hub, which processes the audio and gives the room a single point of control for the devices connected to it.

Room pickup comes from a Parlé TCM-XA white ceiling microphone with amplifier and a Parlé TCM-XEX white extension ceiling microphone. Sound is delivered through four Desono C-IC6 white ceiling loudspeakers. The package also includes a BPAK mounting accessory for the microphone plenum box, one 25 ft (7.5 m) plenum Cat 5e cable, seven 10 ft (3 m) plenum Cat 5e cables and room deployment instructions.

Setup without custom programming

Biamp Launch analyses the acoustics of the room and sets the audio parameters automatically, so the installer does not need to write a control program. From the first call, the system applies acoustic echo cancellation, automatic gain control and intelligent signal routing. In practice, commissioning means checking the result in the room, not building logic from scratch.

Where it fits in Qatar

• A ministry or authority meeting room in Msheireb or West Bay: a room for senior meetings where officials join calls with other departments or agencies, and where clear speech matters more than the number of devices on the table.
• A mid-sized project room in Education City or Lusail: a team that holds daily hybrid calls with partners in Europe or Asia, needing one room system rather than a collection of separate parts.
• A training room at a private school or training centre in Al Sadd: staff sessions for up to 18 people, where the presenter must be heard clearly from any seat.

What to plan before installation

The ceiling microphones and loudspeakers are intended for ceiling installation, so the ceiling void, the position of the microphone plenum box and the cable routes should be checked before ordering. The free site survey from SmartRooms Qatar covers room dimensions, ceiling construction and cable paths. Plan the cable runs against the included lengths of one 25 ft cable and seven 10 ft cables. The source data does not give an operating temperature range for this bundle, so confirm the environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team, especially for rooms with large windows that receive summer sun.

Certification, warranty and ordering

The bundle is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom and is listed as Cisco Verified. The manufacturer also names compatibility with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Google Meet, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Webex and GoTo Meeting, among others. A 5-year manufacturer warranty applies to the package. Quotations usually follow within one working day. Purchase orders (LPOs) and government tenders are accepted, and delivery covers all eight municipalities of Qatar. Request a quote from SmartRooms Qatar, and the team will confirm the estimated lead time, based on stock, with your quotation.
