What the bundle contains

The MRB-L-X400-C-DXS5 is a complete audio kit for larger meeting spaces, supplied as one set so you do not have to source and match separate parts. At its centre is the TesiraFORTÉ X 400 digital signal processor, which handles the microphones and loudspeakers in the room. The kit adds a Parlé TCM-XA white ceiling microphone with its own amplifier, a Parlé TCM-XEX white extension microphone, and a pair of black Desono DXS5 surface-mount loudspeakers. Pre-terminated CAT5e cabling and the mounting and connection hardware are included.

Audio processing that keeps speech clear

Echo cancellation stops sound from the loudspeakers being picked up by the microphones and sent back to remote callers, so people on the far end of a Teams or Zoom call hear the room rather than an echo of their own voices. Automatic noise reduction lowers steady background sounds such as ventilation, which helps speech stay intelligible at the back of the room. Because the processor, microphones and loudspeakers are designed as one kit, the speakers do not need an external amplifier, and the DXS5 loudspeakers are PoE+ powered.

Setup and planning before installation

Biamp Launch auto-configuration tunes the system automatically, which shortens commissioning and gives consistent results from room to room. The manufacturer describes the architecture as scalable and suited to divisible spaces, which matters in buildings where a large hall may later be split into two rooms. Fix the ceiling microphone position and loudspeaker zones before ceilings and walls are finished.
