What arrives in the MRB-L-X400-C-EXS8 box

The bundle, listed under item number 930-10008-00007, is centred on a TesiraFORTÉ X 400 processor, the unit that handles audio routing, tuning and echo control for the room. It comes with a Parlé TCM-XA white ceiling microphone that has its own amplifier, a Parlé TCM-XEX white expansion microphone that extends the ceiling array, and a pair of black Desono EX-S8 surface-mount loudspeakers.

Everything for the audio side is supplied together. Pre-terminated CAT5e cabling and the mounting and connection components are included, so the installer works from one set of parts rather than sourcing cables and brackets separately.

Room tuning, echo control and speech clarity

Biamp Launch analyses the room and adjusts the audio settings automatically, so calibration does not depend on manual programming. Acoustic echo cancellation keeps remote participants from hearing their own voices returning from the room speakers, while noise reduction suppresses background sound so that speech stays intelligible.

Simultaneous speaker operation and voice-tuned loudspeakers aim to give even coverage across the room. The goal is that a participant at the far end of a long table is heard as clearly as someone seated close to the processor.

Platform certification and what it covers

The bundle is listed as Microsoft Teams Certified and Zoom Certified, and it also carries Cisco Verified status. Certified room kits generally reduce the troubleshooting needed when a room joins calls, but your IT team should still confirm the platform version and room account arrangements before the order is placed.

Where it fits across Qatar

• Boardroom in West Bay: a leadership meeting where directors in the room and colleagues abroad share one conversation, with ceiling microphones picking up voices from any seat.
• Divisible training hall in Education City: a room that can be split into two sessions, suited to the bundle's divisible-space layouts.
• Operations room in Mesaieed or Ras Laffan: an energy or industrial team reviewing site performance with engineers who join from another location.

What to plan before ordering

A large room needs a layout plan before any cable is run. Ceiling microphone and loudspeaker positions, the route from the equipment cabinet, and the locations of the display and camera should all be agreed first. SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey, which is the simplest way to confirm these points before you commit.

The manufacturer does not list an operating temperature range for this bundle. Confirm the planned equipment locations with the SmartRooms Qatar team, especially if a rack or enclosure would sit near a window, a lobby or any area without air conditioning. The manufacturer's 5-year warranty applies to the bundle, and public-sector buyers can issue a purchase order (LPO) or take part in a Monaqasat tender.
