Overview

The Biamp MRB-L-X400-T-CIC6LP is a meeting room audio bundle built around a TesiraFORTÉ X 400 processor, Parlé Beamtracking tabletop microphones and a pair of Desono C-IC6LP low-profile ceiling loudspeakers. Biamp Launch tunes the room automatically, and single-cable connection shortens installation. It is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom and suits medium-to-large rooms in Doha, West Bay and Lusail used for hybrid meetings.

What the bundle includes

The Biamp MRB-L-X400-T-CIC6LP brings together audio components matched to work as one system in a single meeting room. The TesiraFORTÉ X 400 processor handles microphone pickup, echo control and loudspeaker output. The capture side is a black Parlé TTM-X tabletop microphone plus a black Parlé TTM-XEX expansion tabletop microphone, while a pair of white Desono C-IC6LP low-profile ceiling loudspeakers covers the room. Pre-terminated CAT5e cabling and the installation accessories needed to fit the kit are included.

Automatic tuning and clear voice pickup

Biamp Launch measures the room's acoustics and calibrates the system automatically, so it is ready within minutes instead of after a programming session. Beamtracking microphones locate and mix the active talker, so people do not need to lean toward a microphone or aim one at it. Custom acoustic echo cancellation keeps echo out of calls so remote participants hear natural speech, and noise reduction removes background sounds that would otherwise reach the far end.

Where it fits in Qatar

The bundle suits three common situations:

Boardroom in Msheireb or West Bay: a medium-to-large table where senior staff join from other sites, and speech stays clear from every seat.
Seminar room in Education City: a lecturer teaching a room of students while external examiners or partners join over a video link.
Training room in Lusail or The Pearl: a Doha office running daily sessions with teams abroad on Microsoft Teams or Zoom, Sunday to Thursday.

What to plan before installation

Start with a free site survey. Measure the room, note the ceiling type and void depth, and mark where the tabletop microphones will sit relative to chairs and cable routes. The ceiling loudspeakers are low-profile, but their fit depends on the ceiling construction, which the installer should check before ordering. Our data does not list an operating temperature range or power requirements for this bundle, so if the room has high heat from a west-facing window or dust exposure, confirm the environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before installation. The bundle carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty, and professional installation can be arranged.

Questions about MRB-L-X400-T-CIC6LP

What is the Biamp MRB-L-X400-T-CIC6LP designed for?

It is a complete audio kit for medium-to-large meeting rooms, combining a TesiraFORTÉ X 400 processor, Beamtracking tabletop microphones and low-profile ceiling loudspeakers in one package. It suits a boardroom in West Bay or Msheireb where people in the room and remote colleagues need to hear each other clearly, with no programming required for setup.

What is included in the bundle?

The package contains a TesiraFORTÉ X 400 processor, a black Parlé TTM-X tabletop microphone, a black Parlé TTM-XEX expansion tabletop microphone, a pair of white Desono C-IC6LP low-profile ceiling loudspeakers, pre-terminated CAT5e cabling and the installation accessories. Ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm the full item list against your room layout when you request a quote.

Is the bundle certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom?

Yes. The manufacturer lists the bundle as Microsoft Teams Certified and Zoom Certified, and also as Cisco Verified. If your organisation uses Teams for internal meetings and Zoom with partners, the same room can serve both. Tell the SmartRooms Qatar team which platforms you use so the quotation reflects your requirements.

What does Biamp Launch do?

Biamp Launch measures the acoustics of the room and calibrates the audio automatically through one-touch tuning, so the system is ready within minutes of installation. This reduces the need for specialist programming on each room, which helps a Doha office that wants to set up several meeting rooms in the same way.

Do people have to aim the microphones at each speaker?

No. The Beamtracking microphones continuously locate and mix active talkers, so people can speak from different seats without aiming a microphone or adjusting settings. This matters around a long government meeting table in Msheireb, where chairs are not fixed and participants change position during a discussion.

Is this bundle suitable for a boardroom in Msheireb or West Bay?

Yes, if the room is medium to large and the table is shared by people joining from other sites. The bundle is designed for collaboration spaces of that size. Before ordering, book a free site survey with SmartRooms Qatar to check room dimensions, ceiling type and where the tabletop microphones will sit relative to seats and cable routes.

Would it work in a seminar room at Education City?

It can, when the seminar room is medium to large and lecturers need to be heard by a group that includes participants on a video link. The ceiling loudspeakers are tuned for vocal clarity and intelligibility, which helps students at the back of the room. Confirm the room size and seating layout with SmartRooms Qatar before requesting a quote.

How does it suit a corporate training room in Lusail?

A training room that hosts trainers or teams in other countries needs clear audio in both directions. Custom acoustic echo cancellation keeps echo out of remote calls, and noise reduction removes background sound. Because the working week runs Sunday to Thursday, plan installation outside booked training days and confirm the timeline with the quotation.

Are the ceiling loudspeakers low-profile, and what should I check in the ceiling?

The Desono C-IC6LP loudspeakers are low-profile ceiling models, supplied as a pair. Before installation, check the ceiling void depth, the type of ceiling tile or board, and where the speakers will sit relative to lights and air-conditioning outlets. The installer should confirm these during the site survey, since mounting dimensions are not covered in our product data.

What warranty does the bundle carry?

The manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty on the Biamp MRB-L-X400-T-CIC6LP. Keep your invoice and update your asset register with the installed components. For the full warranty terms, ask the SmartRooms Qatar team when you request a quote.

Can it be used in a room with heat or dust exposure?

The product data we hold does not list an operating temperature range or environmental rating for this bundle, so we cannot confirm one. If the room faces a west-facing window with strong afternoon heat, or dust is a concern, ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm operating conditions from the manufacturer documentation as part of the quotation.

Can we buy through an LPO or a government tender?

Yes. SmartRooms Qatar accepts purchase orders (LPOs) and government tenders, including those listed on Monaqasat. Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. Send your tender specification or LPO requirements with your request, and we will prepare a quotation for the Biamp MRB-L-X400-T-CIC6LP that matches them.
