MRB-M-X400-C-CIC6

What the bundle includes

The Biamp MRB-M-X400-C-CIC6 is a pre-matched audio package for medium meeting rooms holding up to 11 participants. It is ordered under one part number, so the processor, microphone, loudspeakers and cabling are specified together rather than sourced separately.

• Signal processor: one TesiraFORTE X 400 meeting room DSP
• Ceiling microphone: one Parlé TCM-XA with integrated amplifier, in white
• Loudspeakers: a pair of Desono C-IC6 ceiling loudspeakers, in white
• Installation parts: one BPAK mounting accessory for the microphone plenum box, plus room deployment instructions
• Cabling: one 25 ft (7.5 m) and four 10 ft (3 m) plenum-rated Cat5e cables, pre-terminated

How the audio performs during a call

Remote participants are the hardest test for any meeting room, and this bundle is built around them. The processor runs custom acoustic echo cancellation, so voices from the far end are not sent back through the room. AI noise reduction targets steady background sounds such as air conditioning, which suits rooms where ventilation runs for long hours.

The Parlé microphone uses Beamtracking technology to follow speakers as they move around the table or across the room, keeping voices clear when more than one person talks. Automatic system tuning adjusts the processing to the acoustic profile of the room, and the Desono loudspeakers are tuned for voice reproduction in conference spaces. Mute buttons and LEDs on the microphones sync with the video conferencing software, so the room always shows the correct mute state.

Where it fits in Qatar

A boardroom for around eight to eleven people in West Bay or Lusail, where managers join Microsoft Teams or Zoom calls with colleagues in other countries, is a natural fit. So is a mid-sized training room at a university or training centre in Education City, where a presenter needs to move around while the ceiling microphone keeps audio consistent. A clinic or hospital in Al Sadd whose multidisciplinary team needs one well-equipped meeting room can use the bundle for that single space.

What to plan before you order

• Check the depth and access of the ceiling void, since the microphone sits in a plenum box fitted with the BPAK accessory.
• Measure cable routes from the processor to each microphone and speaker position, because the kit includes one 25 ft cable and four 10 ft cables.
• Confirm the room environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team, as the source data does not list an operating temperature range.
• Confirm your platform: the kit lists compatibility with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Google Meet, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Webex and GoTo Meeting.

SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey before ceiling work starts, which helps confirm the room layout and cable paths. The bundle carries the manufacturer's 5-year warranty.
