Overview

The MRB-M-X400-C-EXS8 is a preconfigured audio kit for medium meeting rooms, built around a TesiraFORTÉ X 400 processor, a Parlé TCM-XA Beamtracking ceiling microphone with amplifier and a pair of black Desono EX-S8 surface-mount loudspeakers. Biamp Launch tunes the system automatically, and the kit carries Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Cisco verification plus a 5-year warranty. It suits boardrooms and conference rooms in Doha, West Bay and Lusail where teams need clear voice pickup without a programmer.

What the bundle includes

The MRB-M-X400-C-EXS8 is a complete audio package for medium meeting rooms, supplied as one set so the processor, microphone, loudspeakers, cabling and mounting hardware arrive matched. The core is a TesiraFORTÉ X 400 processor, paired with a Parlé TCM-XA ceiling microphone that includes an amplifier, and two black Desono EX-S8 surface-mount loudspeakers sold as a pair. The kit also includes pre-terminated CAT5e cables and the mounting and connection hardware needed for installation.

Setup without programming

Biamp Launch automatically tunes and calibrates the system after installation, so your team does not need programming expertise to reach a good sound result. Custom acoustic echo cancellation keeps the voices of remote participants natural and easy to follow, while AI-based noise reduction filters out unwanted sounds such as HVAC noise and keyboard clicks. In a Doha office where air conditioning runs for much of the year, that filtering keeps the room's background noise from distracting the far end of the call.

Microphone and loudspeakers

Beamtracking ceiling microphone: the Parlé TCM-XA locates speakers across the room, mixes their voices and keeps levels even as people move about.
LED mute indication: the microphone's LED indicators and mute buttons stay in step with supported UC software, so the mute state is visible at the microphone.
Desono EX-S8 loudspeakers: surface-mount units with wide dispersion and a balanced tonal character, tuned to reproduce speech clearly across the room.

Where it fits in Qatar

This bundle suits a boardroom in a government ministry in Doha, a conference room in a Lusail or The Pearl office where staff regularly join calls with teams abroad, or a training room at a university or training centre in Education City. It works best in rooms where the microphone can be ceiling-mounted and the loudspeakers can be fixed to walls.

What to plan before ordering

Confirm the room size and layout with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering. The bundle is designed for medium rooms, and a very large or irregularly shaped space may need a different configuration. Plan the ceiling position of the microphone and the wall positions of the speakers, and check the route for the pre-terminated CAT5e cabling. The bundle is listed as Microsoft Teams Certified, Zoom Certified and Cisco Verified, so confirm your platform before ordering. SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey, which is useful before fixing a ceiling microphone, and accepts purchase orders for schools and government buyers.

Questions about MRB-M-X400-C-EXS8

What is the MRB-M-X400-C-EXS8 and who is it for?

The MRB-M-X400-C-EXS8 is a preconfigured audio bundle for medium meeting rooms. It combines a TesiraFORTÉ X 400 processor, a Parlé TCM-XA Beamtracking ceiling microphone with amplifier and a pair of Desono EX-S8 surface-mount loudspeakers. It suits organisations that want a complete room audio set on one order rather than sourcing components separately, such as facilities teams and IT managers fitting out boardrooms and conference rooms.

What room size is this bundle designed for?

The bundle is designed for medium meeting rooms. Large halls, lecture spaces or rooms with an irregular shape should be reviewed before ordering, because microphone coverage depends on the space and its layout. SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey to check the room before a quotation is prepared, which is a practical step for a ceiling-mounted microphone.

Does the system need a programmer to set up?

No programming is required. Biamp Launch automatically tunes and calibrates the TesiraFORTÉ X 400 system, so it reaches a suitable sound result without programming expertise. This helps a school or government office that has no audio specialist on staff. Installers still need to connect the components and complete the room layout before the system is handed over.

Which video platforms is the bundle certified for?

The bundle is listed as Microsoft Teams Certified and Zoom Certified, and it carries a Cisco Verified listing. Before ordering, confirm with the SmartRooms Qatar team that your platform, and the version you run, match these listings. This matters most for organisations that use a different UC platform or a specific release of Teams or Zoom in their meeting rooms.

How does the ceiling microphone handle people who move around the room?

The Parlé TCM-XA Beamtracking microphone locates speakers, mixes their voices and keeps audio levels even as participants move between seats or stand to present. This is useful in a West Bay boardroom where people sit around a long table and walk to a whiteboard during discussion. Plan the microphone position with the installer so it covers the seating area clearly.

Will people in the room see when the microphone is muted?

Yes. The Parlé microphone has LED indicators and mute buttons that synchronise with UC software, so the mute state shows on the microphone and matches the call controls. In a meeting room in Al Sadd or Msheireb, this lets participants see at a glance whether the room is live before they speak. Confirm the exact integration with the SmartRooms Qatar team for your platform.

How well does the system handle air conditioning noise?

AI-driven noise reduction filters out unwanted background sounds, and the manufacturer names HVAC noise and keyboard clicks as examples. In Doha, where air conditioning runs for long hours through the summer, this helps remote participants hear the speakers rather than the room's cooling system. Noise reduction works alongside a well-insulated room, not as a replacement for one.

What cabling and mounting hardware comes in the box?

The bundle includes pre-terminated CAT5e cabling, complete mounting hardware and the connection hardware needed to link the components. Because the cables arrive pre-terminated, there is less on-site termination work, which helps keep installation consistent across several rooms. Ask the installer to check cable routes against the room plan before the ceiling is closed.

Can a school or government office order several bundles under one purchase order?

Yes. SmartRooms Qatar accepts purchase orders (LPOs) and government tenders, including Monaqasat, so a school fitting out several medium classrooms or meeting rooms can order under one LPO. Send the number of rooms and their locations, and we will prepare a quotation, usually within one working day. Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order.

Is this bundle suitable for meetings between Doha and overseas offices?

Yes, it is built for remote collaboration. Custom acoustic echo cancellation keeps speech from the room clear to far-end participants, and the system supports natural two-way conversation. A company with a Doha head office and teams abroad can hear and be heard without repeating themselves. Confirm your video platform against the certifications listed before ordering.

What warranty comes with the bundle?

The bundle is backed by a 5-year warranty from the manufacturer, and products supplied by SmartRooms Qatar are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. For the full warranty terms, refer to the manufacturer's documentation, which the SmartRooms Qatar team can share while your quotation is being prepared. This helps procurement teams record coverage clearly for the asset file.

Does the bundle include a display or a camera?

No. The bundle is an audio package made up of a TesiraFORTÉ X 400 processor, a ceiling microphone, two loudspeakers, cabling and mounting hardware. Buyers who need video must source a display or camera separately and confirm it works with their chosen UC platform. SmartRooms Qatar can quote those items alongside this bundle so the room is planned as one project.
