What the bundle contains

The MRB-M-X400-C-MASK6C is a complete audio package for medium meeting rooms, supplied as one matched set so that the processor, microphone, loudspeakers and cabling arrive together. The core is a TesiraFORTÉ X 400 meeting room DSP, which manages mixing, echo control and noise processing for the whole room. Speech is picked up by a white Parlé TCM-XA Beamtracking ceiling microphone with an integrated amplifier, and played back through two black Desono MASK6C surface-mount loudspeakers.

Connection hardware is also included: one 25 ft plenum-rated CAT5e cable, four 10 ft plenum-rated CAT5e cables, one 3 ft CAT5e cable and an AMP-450BP PoE+ power amplifier. Because the cabling is pre-terminated, installers spend less time preparing connections on site.

How the audio behaves during a live call

Biamp Launch scans the connected devices, tunes the room and sets the configuration automatically, so a standard medium room needs no manual programming. Custom acoustic echo cancellation stops the far end from hearing its own voice returned through the room, while AI-based noise reduction filters HVAC hum and keyboard clatter so remote participants hear the speakers rather than the room.

The ceiling microphone uses beamtracking to follow participants as they lean in, turn or move to a whiteboard. Integrated LED mute indicators show the mute state at a glance, and UC software synchronisation keeps that status aligned with the conferencing application.

Planning the installation

Medium rooms leave less margin for error than they appear to, so plan the layout before fixing anything. Mark where the ceiling microphone will sit relative to the table and the projection screen, check that the two surface-mount loudspeakers can be fixed to suitable wall or ceiling surfaces, and map the cable route from the DSP to each device. Measure every run first, because the supplied cable lengths are fixed and longer runs need additional cable.

Confirm the PoE+ power source for the AMP-450BP amplifier during the design stage.
