Useful for boardrooms in West Bay and university seminar rooms in Education City. Request a quote from SmartRooms Qatar.

A flush-mount kit for white Parlé ceiling microphones

The TCM-X-FM is a mounting kit, not a microphone. It is made for the white versions of the Parlé TCM-X, TCM-XA and TCM-XEX, and its job is to set the microphone level with the ceiling so the device is less visible in the room. For a boardroom or training room where the ceiling finish is part of the design, that difference matters.

Facts that shape the specification

Models: white TCM-X, TCM-XA and TCM-XEX microphones, item number 920-10116-20000.
Spacer: an optional spacer is included for recessed mounting.
Warranty: 5-year manufacturer warranty.
Compliance: TAA compliant.
Application: meeting and conference AV.

Because the kit is matched to a microphone colour, a black microphone needs the black version of the kit instead. Check the microphone finish before ordering, and confirm the exact microphone model in your quotation.

Where it fits in Qatar

A boardroom in West Bay with white ceiling tiles and a long table, where facilities staff want the ceiling to look uninterrupted between meetings. A seminar room at a university in Education City, where the lecturer needs clear speech capture without a microphone hanging from the ceiling. A meeting room at an energy company in Mesaieed, where the layout changes often and the team wants a tidy ceiling finish across several rooms.

What to plan before installation

Measure the ceiling void and the thickness of the ceiling material before deciding whether the optional spacer is needed for recessed mounting. SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey, which helps agree cable routing and ceiling details with the building team before the kit is ordered. Confirm the microphone model that will be installed, since this kit is specific to the white TCM-X, TCM-XA and TCM-XEX family.

The operating temperature range is not stated in the manufacturer data available to us, so confirm the installation environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before specifying the kit for a space that is not air-conditioned. Request a quote from SmartRooms Qatar with your room plan and microphone model, and we will confirm the kit and any spacer your ceiling needs.

Questions about Parlé TCM-X-FM

What is the Parlé TCM-X-FM?

It is a flush-mount ceiling kit for the white versions of the Parlé TCM-X, TCM-XA and TCM-XEX microphones. It lets the microphone sit level with the ceiling instead of hanging below it, which suits boardrooms and meeting rooms where the ceiling finish is part of the design. Request a quote if you are specifying ceiling microphones for a new room in Doha.

Which microphones does the kit fit?

The kit is designed for white TCM-X, TCM-XA and TCM-XEX microphones, and item number 920-10116-20000 is the white version. Black microphones need the black version of the kit, so check the finish of your microphones before ordering. Confirm the exact microphone model in your quotation request.

Is the spacer included?

Yes, an optional spacer is included for recessed mounting. Use it when the ceiling depth or the mounting arrangement calls for it. Your installer can confirm whether it is needed after measuring the ceiling void during a free site survey from SmartRooms Qatar.

Is the kit TAA compliant?

Yes, the kit is TAA compliant. This matters where a purchasing policy or funding condition requires equipment that meets US Trade Agreement Act rules. If your tender or procurement brief specifies TAA compliance, state it in your quotation request so the correct item is quoted.

What warranty applies to the TCM-X-FM?

The manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty on this kit. SmartRooms Qatar supplies the product with the manufacturer's warranty, so the warranty applies to the kit as delivered. Include the item number 920-10116-20000 in your request so the warranty and item details match your order.

I am fitting out a boardroom in West Bay with a white ceiling. Will the kit suit it?

The kit is made for white microphones, so it suits white ceilings where you want the microphone to be as unobtrusive as possible. Flush mounting places the microphone level with the ceiling. Ask SmartRooms Qatar for a free site survey to check the ceiling type, then request a quote with your microphone model.

Can it be used in a seminar room at a university in Education City?

Yes, provided the room uses white TCM-X, TCM-XA or TCM-XEX microphones in a meeting or conference setup. Plan microphone positions with your AV designer before ordering. A site survey lets the team confirm the ceiling void, the spacer requirement and the cable route for the lecturer's position.

What if we are refurbishing several hotel rooms in The Pearl?

Quantities for several rooms can be quoted together, and a purchase order can cover the whole batch. Each room may have a different ceiling build-up, so the site survey should check every room type. Confirm the spacer requirement per room and list the microphone model for each to avoid mismatched kits.

Is the TCM-X-FM suitable for a training room in Mesaieed that is not always air-conditioned?

The manufacturer data we hold does not state an operating temperature range, so we cannot confirm suitability for hot or unconditioned spaces. Confirm the room's environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before you specify the kit, especially for rooms used during the summer months when temperatures can exceed 45°C.

Can a private school in Al Wakrah buy the kit on a purchase order?

Yes. SmartRooms Qatar accepts purchase orders (LPOs), and payment can also be made by bank transfer or cheque. Quotations are usually issued within one working day. Schools fitting several rooms should send the room list and microphone models together so the quotation covers the correct kit for each room.

What does the kit work with, and what does it not work with?

The kit is a mounting solution for white TCM-X, TCM-XA and TCM-XEX microphones only. It is not described for other microphone models or for black microphones. If your room uses a different microphone, tell the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering so the correct mounting option can be quoted.
