UCC-Lenovo TSC-IP-ZOOM

A Zoom Rooms compute and controller pair for existing meeting rooms

The Biamp UCC-Lenovo TSC-IP-ZOOM is a meeting room computing package built around Zoom Rooms. It combines a UC compute unit with Zoom Rooms preloaded, a 10.1-inch touch controller and a Link Box that carries power and network to the controller over a single CAT5e cable. The manufacturer has discontinued this model, so this page is written for organisations that already run it, buyers comparing it with newer options, and anyone who needs a current equivalent or a compatible replacement.

Hardware facts that matter in a meeting room

The UC compute unit runs an 11th Gen Intel Core vPro i5-1145G7E with 16GB of DDR4-3200 memory in dual-channel and a 256GB M.2 SSD. It runs Windows 11 IoT Enterprise GAC 64 and is Zoom certified. Video output comes from two HDMI-out ports, and an HDMI-in port allows screen sharing from a laptop. Other connections include Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, USB 3.2 ports, gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ax wireless and Bluetooth 5.0.

The controller has a 10.1-inch display at 1280 x 800 with a 16:10 aspect ratio, anti-fingerprint treatment, a brightness rating below 360 nits and 10-point multi-touch. Infrared sensors detect presence and can turn the system on or off as people arrive and leave the room.

Where it fits in Qatar

• Huddle and small rooms in corporate offices in West Bay or Lusail: pairing with a Parle conferencing bar gives a small team clearer audio and video for calls with colleagues abroad.
• Medium meeting rooms in a government authority in Doha: this configuration suits internal meetings that link Doha teams with offices in other cities and countries.
• Larger boardrooms and training halls in Education City: Tesira and Devio room bundles are the route for bigger spaces that need more advanced audio.

Installation and what to plan for

The UC compute unit measures 226 mm wide, 200 mm deep and 37.5 mm high, and weighs 1.1 kg. The controller measures 251.5 mm wide, 160 mm deep and 99 mm high, and weighs 1.55 kg. The Link Box measures 210 mm by 96 mm by 27 mm. The kit includes a VESA mount kit, integrated cable management and a Kensington security slot. The 90-watt power adapter accepts 100 to 240 V autosensing input. Before ordering, our free site survey can confirm the cable run from the Link Box to the controller and the mounting position. Setup guides and configuration checklists are published on the Biamp Cornerstone website. A Biamp JSON configuration profile enables room control from the Lenovo ThinkSmart controller within the native Zoom interface, and integration with Biamp Impera room control systems is supported.

The listed certifications are FCC Part 15B, CE marking, UKCA, and UL and cUL listings. The manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty, and products supplied by SmartRooms Qatar are covered by it.
