The HUAWEI RP G2 Series is a room telepresence system built around a 55-inch HD screen. Each configuration brings together the screen, a camera, a microphone, an equipment rack and a 10-inch touch control panel, so a meeting room can run video calls from a single set of components. It is offered as the RP100-55 G2, RP200-55 G2 and RP200-55T G2, and each model is designed for face-to-face style video meetings with remote colleagues, clients or partners.

Video, audio and data performance that matters in meetings

Video runs at 1080p and 60 frames per second, which gives smoother motion when people gesture or when slides change. The system supports H.265, H.265 SVC, H.264 HP and BP, H.264 SVC, H.263 and H.263+ video protocols. Huawei's Video Motion Enhancement is applied to keep the 1080p picture crisp. For sound, the audio protocols include AAC-LD, which Huawei describes as CD-quality, along with G.722, G.722.1, G.722.1C and Opus. Remote HD display of data files is supported, so documents can be shared during a call.

Wireless sharing and simple control

A 10-inch touch control panel and an intuitive user interface handle call setup and room controls. Wireless screen sharing lets a presenter bring content onto the screen without a cable, which helps teams that switch between Arabic and English material within one session. The system can also show conference parties side by side on the same screen, which is useful when several remote sites join the call.

Choosing the right variant

The three models share the same 55-inch screen, Mic 500 microphone and 1080p 60fps specification. The RP100-55 G2 and RP200-55 G2 use the VPC600 camera. The RP200-55T G2 uses the VPT300 camera, and it is the only model that the manufacturer data lists with automatic speaker focus, which keeps the camera tracking whoever is speaking.
