Speak 750

Full duplex audio for small meeting rooms

The Jabra Speak 750 is built for rooms where a conference call needs to sound like a conversation around one table. Full duplex audio lets both ends speak at the same time, so people can respond naturally and interrupt when a discussion moves quickly. Acoustic echo cancellation stops the far side from hearing their own voice returned, and the signal to noise ratio is rated at +70 dB. The omnidirectional microphone covers a 360-degree pickup range, so people seated around the table do not need to lean in.

Connectivity: USB 2.0 for computers, Bluetooth for mobile devices

The speakerphone connects to a computer over USB 2.0 with a cord of about 90 cm, which keeps it close to a laptop or room PC. Phones and tablets pair over Bluetooth 4.2 at a range of up to 10 m. The Jabra Link 370 Bluetooth adapter included in the box extends the wireless range to up to 30 m between the speakerphone and the adapter. The unit supports AAC and SBC audio codecs, the headset, hands-free, A2DP and AVRCP profiles, and music streaming.

Choosing between the UC and Microsoft Teams versions

The Jabra Speak 750 is sold under two SKUs. The 7700-409 is the UC version, certified for unified communications platforms such as Cisco and Avaya. The 7700-309 is the Microsoft Teams version, certified for Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business. The controls on the unit include mute, volume up and down, answer and end call buttons, a Bluetooth on or off button, a link button to pair with a second Speak 750, and a battery status button. A programmable Teams / Smart button can bring Microsoft Teams forward or be set for speed dial or voice assistant access.

Where it fits in Qatar

A bank branch in West Bay can place the unit on a table in a small meeting room and join calls with head office abroad, connected to the room computer by USB. A ministry team in Msheireb holding a daily check-in with colleagues in other time zones can use the Bluetooth adapter to bring a laptop and a phone into the same call. An international school in Al Rayyan fitting out a small office for department heads can use one speakerphone in place of individual headsets for shared calls.

What to plan before you order

Charging is over USB at 5V / 500 mA and takes about 3 hours, so plan for a USB port within reach of the table. Talk time is up to 11 hours, and the unit weighs 301 g, so it sits on a table without mounting. The source data does not list an operating temperature range. If the speakerphone will sit near a window or in a space that is not air-conditioned, confirm the environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before installation. Check that your calling platform matches the UC or Teams version you select.
