Rally AI Camera

A discreet 4K camera built for AI-assisted meeting framing

The Logitech Rally AI Camera is a PTZ conference camera for rooms where the camera should be noticed for its picture rather than its size. Its low-profile body is finished in graphite (960-001808) or off-white (960-001809), so it can sit on a display or shelf without dominating the room. Inside, a 20MP one-inch sensor and a Logitech-designed lens feed AI-based RightSight 2 framing, which adjusts to individuals, groups and speakers as they move.

The specifications that shape the buying decision

Video runs at 4K, 1440p, 1080p, 900p, 720p and SD at 30 fps, so IT teams can set the resolution to suit the far-end platform and available bandwidth. The diagonal field of view is 115.7 degrees, with a horizontal angle of 103.3 degrees and a vertical angle of 60.7 degrees, and 4x digital zoom adds reach for a speaker at the far end of a long table. Audio is captured by eight omni-directional digital MEMS microphones using beamforming and direction of arrival, and that data drives camera framing at a 48 kHz sampling rate.

• Connectivity: USB 3.2 Gen 1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.3.
• Power: PoE+ or the supplied power supply with an operating voltage of 100-240V.
• Environment: operating temperature 0 to 35°C and humidity 10 to 95%.
• Security: AES-128 file-based encryption, symmetric keys and PKI, and device attestation.

Where it fits in Qatar

In a boardroom in West Bay or a government meeting room in Msheireb, automatic framing helps when several people speak around one wide table, and a USB connection links the camera to the meeting computer for calls with teams abroad. In a training centre in Education City, a second Logitech camera can add a different angle, since the camera can be deployed alone or alongside other Logitech cameras. In a hotel meeting room in The Pearl, the camera works as a clean, low-profile fixture as long as it sits inside an air-conditioned space.

What to plan before installation

Because the camera operates from 0 to 35 degrees Celsius, install it in air-conditioned rooms only, and keep it away from windows, direct sunlight and the dust that arrives during Qatar's storms. Plan the cable route for the 3 m CAT6a cable if you use PoE+, or the 2 m USB-C cable for a host computer. The box includes a mounting plate and mounting hardware, and an optional in-wall mount gives a flush finish. SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys to check sightlines, mounting height and nearby power and network points before you order several units.

Ordering for one room or a whole campus

Schools and government bodies buying several units can raise a purchase order (LPO) or take part in government tenders, including Monaqasat. SmartRooms Qatar delivers to all eight municipalities of Qatar and offers professional installation, and payment by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order is accepted. Check the regional power plugs in the box against your sockets before installation day. Request a quote, and our team will usually respond within one working day with the colour and configuration that suits your room.
