Overview

The Logitech Rally Bar Mini is an all-in-one video bar combining a PTZ camera with 4K resolution output, six beamforming microphones and three speakers in one enclosure. It drives up to two displays at 1080p and is listed for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android and Windows in small rooms. Suited to meeting rooms in Doha and Lusail where one device must handle video, audio and content. Request a quote.

One video bar for a single meeting room

Logitech Rally Bar Mini puts the camera, microphones, speakers and processing into one enclosure that sits on a table or mounts beneath a display. For an IT manager, that means one device to power, connect and manage with Logitech Sync, instead of separate cameras and ceiling microphones to coordinate. It is an all-in-one design built for small to medium rooms, with an integrated table stand.

Camera framing and audio pickup

The PTZ camera outputs 4K, 1440p, 1080p, 900p, 720p and SD at 30fps. It pans ±25° and tilts ±15° under motorised control, with a 120° diagonal field of view and 4X HD digital zoom. Combined, total room coverage is listed at 163° horizontal by 110° vertical. A separate AI Viewfinder captures everyone in the room while the primary lens frames the active speaker, which helps remote participants follow discussion around a table.

Six omnidirectional digital microphones form five adaptive beams with a pickup range of up to 7 m. Echo cancellation, voice activity detection and AI-based noise suppression keep speech clear. Three speakers, including a 70 mm woofer driver, fill the room, and up to three extra Rally Mic Pods and two Rally Mic Pod Hubs extend coverage in larger rooms.

Connections, power and accessories

Two HDMI outputs at up to 1080p and one HDMI input
Three USB Type A ports and one USB Type C port
10/100/1G Ethernet and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi
Bluetooth Low Energy remote control

The power supply is auto-sensing across 100-240V, which covers Qatar's 240V mains. The box includes a 1 m AC power cord, a 1.5 m DC cable, a 2 m HDMI cable and a 2.2 m USB A to USB C 3.0 cable. Longer USB runs can use Logitech Strong USB extensions of 10 m, 25 m or 45 m. Wall and TV mounts for video bars are listed as accessories.

Touch control is offered through Logitech Tap or Tap IP, but compatibility may vary, so check the manufacturer's compatibility page before ordering.

Heat, dust and room conditions in Qatar

The listed operating range is 0 to 40°C with 10 to 95% humidity, and storage is rated from -40 to 70°C. Summer temperatures in Qatar can pass 45°C, so this bar belongs in an air-conditioned room, away from direct sun through windows and away from hot equipment racks. Heat output is listed at 57 BTU/hr at idle and 64 BTU/hr in meetings, which should be counted when sizing room cooling.

Where it fits in Qatar

A consultancy office in West Bay with a small huddle room where a team holds regular calls with clients abroad.
A training room in Al Sadd where clinic staff join sessions run from another site.
A ministry meeting room in Msheireb that needs a clean, single-device setup for cross-team calls.

Security features include AES-128 full disk encryption, device attestation and API-based device access, with management through Logitech Sync. For a room in Doha, Lusail or Al Khor, request a quote and SmartRooms Qatar will confirm the mount, cable route and controller choice before installation.

Questions about Rally Bar Mini

What is the Logitech Rally Bar Mini built to do?

It is an all-in-one video bar for video calls in a single meeting room. One enclosure combines a PTZ camera, six beamforming microphones, three speakers and an AI Viewfinder, so there is no need for a separate camera or ceiling microphones. It suits teams in Doha and Lusail that hold regular calls with colleagues abroad and do not have a technician for every room.

Which room size suits the Rally Bar Mini?

It suits small to medium rooms. A typical case is a huddle room in a West Bay office where a few people join a call with a remote team, or a training room in Al Sadd where clinic staff join sessions from another site. Microsoft Teams Rooms compatibility is listed for small-sized rooms, so check the manufacturer's compatibility page before choosing it for a large boardroom.

How wide is the camera view and how far does it move?

The camera has a 120° diagonal field of view and a 113° horizontal field of view. It pans ±25° and tilts ±15° with motorised movement. Combined, total room coverage is listed at 163° horizontally by 110° vertically. It also offers 4X HD digital zoom and outputs 4K, 1440p, 1080p, 900p, 720p and SD at 30fps, enough to frame participants seated across a table.

How far can the microphones pick up speech?

Pickup range is up to 7 m. Six omnidirectional digital MEMS microphones form five adaptive acoustic beams, and the audio uses echo cancellation, voice activity detection and AI-based noise suppression. Place the bar so that speakers sit within that 7 m range, and keep it away from constant noise sources such as a strong air conditioning vent, which can affect how clearly voices are picked up.

Can I add microphones for a larger room?

Yes. The bar supports up to three additional Rally Mic Pods and two Rally Mic Pod Hubs for larger conference rooms, connected through its proprietary external mic input. Rally Mic Pod Mount and Rally Mic Pod Extension Cable accessories are also listed. Decide on extra pods during the site survey, because table layout and cable routing determine whether pods or a longer run are needed.

What connections and displays does it support?

It has two HDMI outputs at up to 1080p, one HDMI input, three USB Type A ports and one USB Type C port. Wired networking is 10/100/1G Ethernet, and Wi-Fi is 802.11a/b/g/n/ac. It supports two displays at up to 1080p, and its remote control uses Bluetooth Low Energy. Check that the room's display accepts 1080p, since that is the listed maximum display resolution.

Can it run in a hot Doha meeting room?

Its operating temperature range is 0 to 40°C, with humidity from 10 to 95%. Summer temperatures in Qatar can exceed 45°C, so the room must be air-conditioned and the bar kept out of direct sun from windows. Storage is rated from -40 to 70°C. Heat output is listed at 57 BTU/hr idle and 64 BTU/hr in meetings, which your cooling plan should include. Confirm room conditions with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering.

Will the power supply work on Qatar's 240V mains?

The power supply is auto-sensing and its operating voltage is listed as 100-240V, with a 19V, 4.74A output. That input range covers Qatar's 240V mains. The supplied AC power cord is 1 m long and the DC cable is 1.5 m. The plug type on the supplied cord is not stated in the data, so confirm with SmartRooms Qatar that it matches BS 1363 (Type G) sockets before ordering.

Does it work with Microsoft Teams Rooms?

The manufacturer lists Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android and Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows, both for small-sized rooms. For the latest certification and compatibility details, check the manufacturer's certifications page. If your organisation uses another video platform, ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm support against your specific software before ordering, so the quotation matches your requirements.

Is it compatible with Logitech Tap?

The source lists Logitech Tap and Tap IP as touch controller options, but notes that compatibility may vary. The manufacturer also offers a full solution that pairs the Rally Bar Mini with Tap IP, a touch controller with PoE connectivity. Before ordering, check the latest touch controller compatibility on the manufacturer's site and request a quotation that states exactly which controller is included.

Do I need a site survey before mounting it?

Yes, a survey is recommended. Listed mounting options are a wall mount and a TV mount for video bars. The bar weighs 4.03 kg and measures 719 mm wide, 91.4 mm high and 101 mm deep, so the mount must suit the wall or display. SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys before installation to confirm the wall or display, cable routes and camera line of sight. Request a quote to start.

What is the difference between the Graphite and White versions?

The two versions differ in colour and part number: Graphite is 960-001339 and White is 960-001351. The published specifications, including camera, audio, interfaces and environmental ratings, are the same for both. Choose the colour that suits your room's finish. Organisations ordering several units can raise a purchase order (LPO), and SmartRooms Qatar will confirm the chosen variant on the quotation.
