120 Max

A 4K camera built for the whole meeting table

The Nearity 120 Max is a USB video conferencing camera built around an 8MP Star-VIS sensor and a fixed 2.0mm lens with an F2.0 aperture. Its 120° field of view keeps people seated at the edges of a table in shot, and it outputs 4K over USB, with MJPEG delivering 4K at 30fps and 1080P at 60fps.

The camera handles framing, exposure, white balance and anti-flicker automatically, and it works with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex and Skype. A remote colleague can see and hear everyone in the room without a complicated room programme.

Framing that follows people as they move

AI auto framing detects participants and adjusts the view in real time as people join, leave or shift in their seats. In a meeting where chairs move and people stand to present, this removes the need for someone to pan or zoom by hand. HDR and 3D noise suppression support help keep the picture balanced when window daylight mixes with artificial light.

The camera offers up to 5x digital zoom. Because this is a digital crop rather than an optical zoom, position the unit close enough to the presenter or the document on the table that the picture stays sharp.

Four microphones, with expansion for larger rooms

Four MEMS microphones provide 360° pickup, with an effective radius of 5 m from the standalone unit. Full-duplex operation lets people talk over each other without the audio cutting out. AI noise reduction, echo cancellation, reverberation suppression and automatic gain control work together to keep speech clear.

For larger rooms, a 3.5mm port connects an optional AM01 external microphone. Connecting two AM01 units extends the effective pickup range to 16 m. The package includes one AM01, so a second unit is needed to reach that figure. The speaker is rated at 80±3dB with an effective frequency response of 140Hz to 20kHz, suited to a standard meeting room.

Where it fits in Qatar

• Huddle rooms in West Bay or Lusail: a six-seat room where a Doha team joins colleagues in another emirate or abroad, with the camera on the table and the standalone microphones covering the seats.
• Boardrooms in Msheireb or the Industrial Area: a table for about 15 people, where the 120° view and an expansion microphone cover both ends of a long table.
• Training and seminar rooms in Education City or Al Sadd: a presenter stands at a board while remote learners follow, using the 5x digital zoom and an AM01 microphone to keep speech audible.

What to plan before you order

The source data does not state an operating temperature range or a dust rating. Qatar summers exceed 45°C, so if the camera would sit near a window, in a lobby or in a space that is not air-conditioned, ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm suitability before ordering.

Power comes from an external DC 12V-2A adaptor, which is included, so plan the socket position and cable routing around the desk or tripod. A 2m type C-A cable is also supplied. The listed installation options are tabletop and tripod. A free site survey lets our team check distances, sightlines and cable runs before the quotation is finalised.

Request a quote from SmartRooms Qatar and we will confirm the accessories for your room, including whether an AM01 expansion microphone or a second unit is needed. Quotations are usually provided within one working day.
