The Nearity A31S-C is a network array microphone for meeting rooms where a single device has to serve a whole table. Its 3D spatial audio processing, branded VoiceCAP Pro 3D, is designed to keep capture stable in rooms with difficult acoustics, and it is built to suppress interference from outside the capture area. The pickup radius is 8 meters, enough to cover participants seated at different distances from the unit.

Seating position matters less with the virtual microphone technology. The A31S-C creates a 3D capture space on a 5cm grid, so a presenter who turns to the screen, or a colleague who leans back or moves during a call, keeps consistent audio quality. The unit also offers AV over IP capability, which lets it sit inside a wider networked audio setup and work with a range of audio devices.
