Overview

Connectivity, streaming and control software

The camera provides a 4K HDMI output, a 3G-SDI output with HD formats, and IP streaming in H.264 and H.265 at up to 3840 x 2160. Frame rates for 4K H.264 and H.265 streams reach 30 fps on 60 Hz systems and 25 fps on 50 Hz systems. RTMP and RTMPS push streams directly to services such as YouTube Live and Facebook Live. Using the PTZ Virtual USB driver over a LAN connection, the Type-C USB port presents the camera as a USB camera for video and audio, with Panopto named among supported platforms. The unit also accepts mic or line audio through a 3.5 mm input and works with the AW-RP150GJ, AW-RP60GJ and AW-RM50AG controllers, plus PTZ Control Center software. HDCP and Viera Link are not supported on the HDMI output, which matters when choosing displays or projectors.
