What the ACC-SB2 mount is built to do
The Peerless-AV ACC-SB2 is a universal mount for UC/VC soundbars, the bars that sit with a display in a video conferencing room and carry the microphones and speakers that keep remote calls clear. It holds a soundbar above or below a panel sized from 55 to 98 inches, or across two displays sized from 55 to 75 inches. Everything needed for installation is in the box, provided the soundbar has suitable fixing points.
Adjustment, load limit and dimensions
The mount is adjustable, so an installer can narrow the gap between the display and the soundbar for a neat, tidy line. It is rated for a maximum load of 8.98 kg, so check the weight of your soundbar before ordering. The bracket itself measures 92 cm high, 5.51 cm wide and 12.70 cm deep, and weighs approximately 2.49 kg. Its black fused epoxy finish is scratch resistant, and the mount is VESA mount compatible.
Where it fits in Qatar
Three situations suit this mount well:
- A ministry boardroom in West Bay with a single large display, where the soundbar sits neatly beneath a 98-inch screen and the room looks finished for senior meetings.
- A training centre in Al Sadd running two 75-inch screens side by side for hybrid courses that link trainers with participants abroad.
- A private school in Al Rayyan fitting out several classrooms with 65-inch or larger panels, where one mount type keeps the installation consistent and simplifies ordering on a single purchase order.
Planning the installation
- Confirm the soundbar has suitable fixing points and weighs no more than 8.98 kg.
- For the display itself, choose a Peerless-AV flat, tilt or articulating wall bracket, or a cart or stand, and the soundbar mount will pair with them.
- Assembly is required. The package includes installation hardware and instructions.
- Use indoor locations only, as the product is listed for indoor use.
- Book a free site survey before drilling into walls, particularly for heavier displays.
SmartRooms Qatar supplies the ACC-SB2 across all eight municipalities of Qatar, with professional installation available, and accepts purchase orders and government tenders. The mount carries a 5-year limited warranty from the manufacturer. To receive a quotation, which usually arrives within one working day, request a quote with your display size, soundbar model and room layout.

What is the Peerless-AV ACC-SB2 used for?
The ACC-SB2 is a universal mount that holds a UC/VC soundbar, the bar that carries microphones and speakers for video conferencing, above or below a display. It suits meeting rooms, boardrooms and training rooms where the soundbar should stay close to the screen and out of the way. It supports single displays from 55 to 98 inches and dual-display setups from 55 to 75 inches, covering many room sizes across Qatar.
What screen sizes does the ACC-SB2 support?
For a single display, the mount is designed for sizes from 55 inches up to 98 inches and larger. For two displays, it supports screens from 55 to 75 inches. Check the screen size and the soundbar weight together before ordering, because the maximum load is 8.98 kg. If your display falls outside these ranges or uses an unusual frame, send the model to the SmartRooms Qatar team so they can confirm fit before quoting.
How much weight can the mount hold?
The maximum load capacity is 8.98 kg. The bracket itself weighs approximately 2.49 kg, so the soundbar's own weight is the figure that matters for planning. Confirm that weight against the 8.98 kg limit before ordering. If it is close to the limit, ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to review the wall and fixing details during your free site survey, since a secure fixing depends on the wall as well as the bracket.
Can the soundbar be mounted above or below the display?
Yes. The mount is designed to hold the soundbar above or below the display, provided the soundbar has suitable fixing points for the bracket. Its adjustability lets the installer narrow the gap between the display and the soundbar so the two line up neatly. In a Doha meeting room with a 75-inch screen, the final position should be agreed during the site survey so cable routes and sightlines work well.
Is the ACC-SB2 compatible with other mounts and furniture?
Yes. It is listed as compatible with several Peerless-AV display mounts, including flat, tilt and articulating wall types, along with carts and stands. This gives flexibility if one display is wall-mounted in a boardroom and another sits on a mobile cart in a training room. Confirm the exact display mount with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering so the bracket suits your planned arrangement.
Is it suitable for outdoor areas or sunny lobbies?
The product is listed for indoor use only, so it should not be installed in outdoor areas such as an open terrace or plaza. For an entrance lobby in Msheireb with large glazing or dust exposure, the position should be reviewed before installation. SmartRooms Qatar can check the exact location, including sun and dust exposure, during a free site survey and suggest an alternative spot if needed.
Do I need professional installation?
Assembly is required, and the package includes the installation hardware and instructions. Many buyers in Doha choose professional installation to make sure the bracket is fixed securely to a suitable wall and the soundbar is aligned accurately with the display. SmartRooms Qatar offers professional installation for the ACC-SB2, and a free site survey can be booked before any work starts.
Can it work with two displays in a training room?
Yes, the mount is specified for dual-display use with screens from 55 to 75 inches. A training centre in Al Sadd running two 75-inch screens side by side for hybrid courses would fall within that range. Plan the spacing between the two panels and the soundbar length against the room layout, and confirm both screens are within the specified range before ordering.
Will it fit a 98-inch display in a West Bay boardroom?
The mount covers single displays from 55 inches up to 98 inches and larger, so a 98-inch panel is within its listed range. A ministry boardroom in West Bay with a large single screen can use it to place the soundbar neatly beneath the display. Because screens of this size are heavy, a free site survey from SmartRooms Qatar is recommended before any drilling into the wall.
What warranty and certifications does the ACC-SB2 carry?
The ACC-SB2 comes with a 5-year limited warranty from the manufacturer. It is listed as RoHS compliant, meaning it meets the restriction of hazardous substances standard, and VESA appears among its certifications. Both points matter for procurement files and government tenders that ask for environmental compliance documentation. Products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty when supplied by SmartRooms Qatar.
Can a school buy several units for multiple classrooms?
Yes. A private school in Al Rayyan fitting out several classrooms with 65-inch or larger panels can request one quotation covering all the mounts, which helps keep the installation consistent. SmartRooms Qatar accepts purchase orders (LPOs) and government tenders, with payment by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. List the display size and soundbar model for each room so the quotation matches every mounting position.
