Overview
The Sennheiser 700124 is the EU-plug power cord for the TeamConnect Bar S video conferencing bar. It measures 5.9 ft and comes with a quick guide and a safety guide. The manufacturer lists a 2-year warranty. It suits Qatar offices, schools and boardrooms that need a spare or replacement lead for an existing bar. Because the plug is EU format, confirm socket compatibility with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering. Request a quote for this accessory.
What the 700124 cord is for
The Sennheiser 700124 is the EU-plug power cord listed for the TeamConnect Bar S. It is a spare or replacement lead rather than a complete system, so it suits facilities teams keeping stock for several bars, or IT teams replacing a damaged lead without buying a new device.
Specifications that matter when ordering
- Article number: 700124
- Cord length: 5.9 ft
- In the box: one power cord, one quick guide, one safety guide
- Battery: no battery included
- Warranty: 2 years from the manufacturer
Confirm the article number against the label on your existing cord or your bar's order record before requesting a quote. Matching the article number avoids ordering the wrong plug variant for your site.
Plug type and Qatar mains power
This is the EU variant with an EU-format plug. Qatar mains power runs at 240 V, 50 Hz and uses BS 1363 (Type G) sockets, which take a different plug shape. Before ordering, ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm the correct cord or adaptor for your power points, so the bar is powered safely from the outlets at your site. Avoid unrated adaptors.
Where a spare TC Bar S cord fits in Qatar
A private school in Al Wakrah with several TC Bar S units in classrooms and staff rooms may want a spare cord on the shelf, so a damaged lead does not take a room out of use. A bank head office in West Bay might keep one spare for each boardroom bar. A government authority buying through a purchase order can add this item to the same quotation as its bars and accessories.
Planning before you order
Count the bars on site, note where each power point is, and check the plug type of the cord you are replacing. Keep the 5.9 ft length in mind when routing the cord to the bar's position. It suits a bar placed near an outlet or a cable tray, while longer runs may need a different arrangement.
Send SmartRooms Qatar the article number 700124, the number of units and the type of power points at your site, and the team will confirm the right cord for your installation. Request a quote and we will usually reply within one working day.

Questions about Power Cord EU for TC Bar S
What is the Sennheiser 700124 power cord?
The Sennheiser 700124 is an EU-plug power cord listed for the TeamConnect Bar S, sold under article number 700124. It is an accessory rather than a complete device, so it is used to power or replace the lead on an existing bar. Organisations in Doha that already run TC Bar S units use it as a spare or as a like-for-like replacement.
How long is the cord and what is in the box?
The cord measures 5.9 ft. The box contains one power cord, one quick guide and one safety guide. No battery is included. Check the article number on your current cord or bar order before requesting a quote, so the length and plug type match the installation.
Will this EU cord work with Qatar sockets?
Qatar mains power runs at 240 V, 50 Hz and uses BS 1363 (Type G) sockets, which have a different plug shape from the EU format used on this cord. Before ordering, ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm the correct cord or adaptor for your outlets. Do not use unrated adaptors to bridge the difference.
Can I use this cord to replace a damaged lead on a TC Bar S?
Yes, the 700124 is listed as a power cord for the TeamConnect Bar S, so it is the intended replacement for that model. Check that your damaged cord carries the same article number or EU plug format. If it does not match, send the details to SmartRooms Qatar and we will confirm the right part for your bar.
Which sites in Qatar would order a spare cord?
Multi-room sites are the most common buyers. A university in Education City running TC Bar S units in several seminar rooms may keep one spare cord per building, so a fault does not stop a session. A corporate office in Lusail with bars in multiple meeting rooms can use the same approach for quick swaps.
Is a battery included with the cord?
No. The product data lists no battery in the box. The contents are one power cord, one quick guide and one safety guide. If your setup needs other components, include them in the same quotation request so the SmartRooms Qatar team can list them together.
What warranty applies to the 700124?
The manufacturer lists a 2-year warranty for this power cord. SmartRooms Qatar supplies it under that manufacturer warranty. Keep your purchase order or quotation reference with the product records so warranty claims can be matched to the original supply.
Can I order this cord with TC Bar S units under one quotation?
Yes. Many buyers send the bar model, quantity and cord article number together, so one quotation covers the full installation. For government or school purchases, a single purchase order can include the bars and their spare cords. Quotations are usually returned within one working day.
Can a government office buy this cord through a purchase order?
Yes. SmartRooms Qatar accepts purchase orders (LPOs) and supports government tenders, including Monaqasat, and payment is available by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. Include the article number 700124 and the quantity on the LPO so the correct EU-plug variant is supplied for your site.
Do I need a site survey for an accessory like this?
A full survey is not usually needed for a cord, but it helps to check the power point where each TC Bar S sits and the route the cord will follow. SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys, and the team can confirm socket type and cable length before you order several units.
How should I plan spares for several bars at one site?
Keep at least one spare cord per site or per floor, based on how many bars are installed and how far they are from the nearest outlet. Record the article number and plug type in your asset register. A hotel AV room in West Bay, for example, can hold one spare for each group of meeting rooms it serves.
