What this cord is for and what the box contains
The Sennheiser Power Cord KOR for TC Bar S, article 700129, is the mains cable sold for the TeamConnect Bar S video conferencing bar. It is a separate accessory, so it suits organisations that need a replacement cord, a spare for a second room, or a matched cable when several bars are installed on one project. The package contains the power cord, a quick guide and a safety guide. No battery is included.
The facts that matter before ordering
- Cord length: 5.9 ft (shown as 5.9' by the manufacturer).
- Article number: 700129, which should appear on every purchase order and quotation.
- Warranty: 2 years from the manufacturer.
- Status: current model, available to quote.
The manufacturer's data does not list the plug type, rated voltage, current or operating temperature range for this cord. Those details matter for a Qatar installation, so they should be confirmed before ordering rather than assumed.
Where it fits in Qatar
Three situations come up often for this accessory:
- A boardroom in Msheireb or West Bay where a cord is disconnected during a furniture change and needs replacing without waiting for a full system swap.
- A school in Al Rayyan or Al Wakrah fitting out several meeting rooms, where facilities staff want a matched spare for each bar and one LPO covering the set.
- A hotel meeting room in The Pearl where the bar sits on a credenza away from the wall socket, so the cord length decides whether the layout works.
Planning checklist before you request a quote
Measure the distance from the planned socket to the bar position, allowing for any trunking, rack or desk edge the cord must pass. Note the bar model and how many cords you need, and include article number 700129 in your request. If the room is complicated, our free site survey checks cable routing before any order is placed. Because Qatar's standard wall sockets follow the BS 1363 (Type G) design and mains supply is 240 V, 50 Hz, send the team a photo of the socket so the plug can be checked against it.
Send the article number, quantity and room details to SmartRooms Qatar and request a quote. Quotations are usually issued within one working day, and delivery covers all eight municipalities of Qatar.

Questions about Power Cord KOR for TC Bar S
What is the Sennheiser Power Cord KOR for TC Bar S used for?
It is the mains power cord for the TeamConnect Bar S video conferencing bar, sold as a separate item under article number 700129. It is useful when a bar needs a replacement cord, a spare for another room, or a matched cord while several units are being fitted out. The package holds the cord, a quick guide and a safety guide. Ask our team to confirm it matches your bar variant before ordering a set for several rooms.
Will 5.9 feet reach a TC Bar S sitting on a desk in a Doha office?
The cord is 5.9 ft long. Measure from the wall socket to the bar position, allowing for any route across a desk, rack or cable tray. If the bar sits far from the socket, choose a position that keeps the cord away from walking paths. Send the measurement with your quote request so the team can check the length fits the layout before you buy.
What warranty does the cord carry, and how do I record it for a government tender?
The manufacturer gives a 2-year warranty on this cord, and products supplied by SmartRooms Qatar are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. For a government tender or purchase order, state the 2-year warranty period next to article number 700129 so any claim can be matched to the correct line item and invoice.
Does the box include a battery?
No. The manufacturer's data lists no battery for this item, and the box contains only the power cord, a quick guide and a safety guide. If you expect a battery-powered accessory, check the requirements of the bar itself first. The team can confirm exactly what is needed alongside the cord when you request a quote.
Does the cord fit Qatar's wall sockets?
The data does not state the plug type, rated voltage or current for this cord, so we cannot confirm compatibility from the manufacturer's specification. Qatar's standard sockets follow the BS 1363 (Type G) design and mains supply is 240 V, 50 Hz. Before ordering, send a photo of the wall socket and the bar's power input, and we will check compatibility with you.
When does a Qatar office need a spare cord for this bar?
A common case is a boardroom in Msheireb or West Bay where the cord is pulled out during a furniture rearrangement, leaving the room unusable until a replacement arrives. In rooms used daily, a matched spare kept on site shortens that downtime. Note the room name and article number 700129 so the right cord is ordered first time.
How do I order several cords for several TC Bar S units for a school or ministry?
SmartRooms Qatar accepts purchase orders (LPOs) and supports government tenders, including Monaqasat. For a school in Al Rayyan with several bars, list each room, the article number 700129 and the quantity on one LPO. Quotations are usually issued within one working day, and lead times are confirmed with the quote based on stock.
Is this cord sold with the TC Bar S itself?
This item is an accessory sold as a separate part under its own article number, not a bar. The manufacturer lists it within the TC Bar accessories series. When you request a quote, confirm the bar model you own so the correct cord is priced and supplied.
Do we need a site survey for a hotel meeting room in The Pearl before fitting bars with this cord?
A single cord rarely needs a full survey, but cable routing matters. SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys, which help when several meeting rooms in a hotel in The Pearl have difficult socket positions or fixed trunking. The survey checks cord length, socket location and the path the cord takes before any order is placed.
What should I include when I request a quote for this cord?
Include article number 700129, the number of cords, the room or site name and the bar model the cord will connect to. Add a photo or measurement of the socket if you have one. The quotation covers supply and delivery across all eight municipalities of Qatar, and professional installation can be arranged if needed. Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order.
Does the cord need special care in Qatar's summer heat?
The data gives no operating temperature range for this cord, so we cannot state an official limit. Keep cables away from hot surfaces, direct sunlight through windows and dusty corners of the room. If the cord will run near a window or an area open to the outdoors in Lusail or elsewhere, confirm the installation environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering.
