It suits IT and AV teams in Qatar replacing or adding a cord to a TC Bar S. Qatar sockets are BS 1363 (Type G), so confirm plug fit before ordering.
What article 700125 supplies
Article 700125 is the Sennheiser power cord with a US plug, sized for the TeamConnect Bar S. It is a 5.9-foot cable, delivered with a quick guide and a safety guide. It is an accessory: it does not change the bar's video, audio or conferencing features, so the decision rests on fit and replacement needs.
Facts to check on the quotation
- Length: 5.9 feet
- Plug type: US version
- Included: power cord, quick guide, safety guide
- Warranty: 2-year manufacturer warranty
No battery is included, which is expected for a mains cable. The source data gives no other electrical or environmental ratings, so SmartRooms Qatar cannot state any beyond these.
Matching the plug to a Qatar outlet
Qatar mains runs at 240 V, 50 Hz, and Qatar sockets are BS 1363 (Type G). A US plug has a different shape, so confirm the plug type against the outlet where the TC Bar S will be connected before ordering. Avoid improvised adapters to solve a mismatch; the team can advise on the correct cord for your site.
Where a spare cord is needed in Qatar
Three situations come up often. A boardroom in West Bay or Msheireb may need a replacement after a bar is moved for cleaning or refitting. A school in Al Rayyan equipping several meeting rooms should count rooms and outlets before ordering. A training centre or clinic in Education City can keep a matched spare on file so a fault does not take a room out of use.

Questions about Power Cord US for TC Bar S
What is the Sennheiser 700125?
The Sennheiser 700125 is a 5.9-foot power cord with a US plug, sold as the mains cable for the TeamConnect Bar S. It is an accessory rather than a bar, so it adds no video, audio or conferencing features. Buyers usually order it to replace a damaged cord or to standardise cords across several TC Bar S installations. Request a quote that lists article number 700125 so the correct cord is supplied.
Will this cord fit power outlets in Qatar?
Qatar mains runs at 240 V and 50 Hz, and its sockets are BS 1363 (Type G). This cord has a US plug, which does not match Type G sockets directly. Before ordering, compare the plug with the actual outlet at the bar's location and ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm fit, rather than relying on an unapproved adapter.
What comes in the box?
The package contains one power cord for the TeamConnect Bar S, measuring 5.9 feet, plus a quick guide and a safety guide. No other accessories are listed, so the cord is the only cable supplied. Read the safety guide before connecting or replacing the cord, and check with the SmartRooms Qatar team whether your installation needs any other cables.
How long is the cable, and does length matter during installation?
The cord is 5.9 feet long. Before requesting a quote, measure from the planned outlet to the TC Bar S position, including any route behind a credenza or along a wall. If the distance is close to the cord length, allow for slack or ask for a free site survey from SmartRooms Qatar to choose a better outlet position.
Does the cord come with a warranty?
Yes. The manufacturer lists a 2-year warranty for this accessory, and SmartRooms Qatar supplies it with that manufacturer's warranty in place. Keep the article number 700125 and your purchase paperwork together in case a warranty claim is needed. For a government tender, state the article number clearly in the request so the quotation matches the warranted item.
When would a facilities team in West Bay need this cord?
A company office in West Bay may need a replacement cord after a TC Bar S is moved between meeting rooms or cleaned around its cable. Request a quote for article 700125 so the AV team can swap only the cord. Power the bar down and unplug it before the swap, and let a qualified electrician or the installer handle the work after the plug has been confirmed.
How many cords does a school in Al Rayyan need for several meeting rooms?
A school needs one cord for each TC Bar S. List each meeting room with its outlet type, then request one quotation that covers the full quantity of article 700125. Matching the cord count to the bar count avoids a second order when a room is ready for handover, and it keeps every room on the same cord specification.
Is this cord compatible with other TeamConnect bars?
The source data identifies this cord for the TeamConnect Bar S only. Do not assume it fits other TeamConnect models or bars from other brands. Send the exact bar model with your quote request so the team can confirm the correct article number and plug type before anything is ordered.
Can I buy this cord with a purchase order or through a government tender?
Yes. SmartRooms Qatar accepts purchase orders (LPOs), supplies government tenders including those on Monaqasat, and accepts payment by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. Delivery covers all eight municipalities of Qatar. Include article number 700125, the quantity and the delivery municipality in your request, and the team will issue a quotation, usually within one working day.
Can the cord be run in a hot or dusty location?
The source data gives no operating temperature or environmental rating for this cord, so SmartRooms Qatar cannot state one. Summer temperatures in Qatar can exceed 45 C and dust storms are common, so route the cord indoors, away from heat sources and dust, and confirm the suitable environment with the team before installation.
How do I request a quote for this cord?
Send SmartRooms Qatar the article number 700125, the quantity, the delivery address and the bar model. Quotations are usually issued within one working day. Mention the outlet type at your site, such as BS 1363 (Type G), so the plug can be confirmed before the order is placed. If you want the cable route and outlet checked on site first, ask for a free site survey.
