What this power supply does for a TeamConnect Bar S
The Sennheiser Power Supply TC Bar S, article 700130, is the external power unit in the TC Bar accessories range for the TeamConnect Bar S. It converts mains AC input into a 15 V DC output rated at 45 W. Facilities managers usually order it as a spare for a meeting room, or as a replacement for a unit that has failed, and matching the article number keeps the replacement consistent with the existing installation.
Electrical and environmental specifications that matter
The input accepts 100 to 240 V AC, which covers the 240 V mains supply used in Qatar. The operating temperature range is 0 to 40 °C (32 to 104 °F), while storage is rated from -40 to 80 °C. Relative humidity is 20 to 98 percent, non-condensing, for both operation and storage.
- Input: 100 to 240 V AC
- Output: 15 V DC, 45 W
- Operating temperature: 0 to 40 °C
- Storage temperature: -40 to 80 °C
- Humidity: 20 to 98 %, non-condensing
- Weight: 300 g
Summer temperatures in Doha often rise above 40 °C, so the rated operating range deserves attention. If the equipment cabinet or comms room has no ventilation and runs hotter than 40 °C, confirm the location with the SmartRooms Qatar team before installation.
Where it fits in Qatar
An office in West Bay that relies on daily video calls with colleagues abroad can keep a matched spare on the shelf, so a failed supply does not leave the boardroom without video conferencing. A research centre in Education City or a school in Al Sadd fitting out several meeting rooms can order one unit per room using the same article number, which keeps the spares identical. Government offices in Doha can quote article number 700130 directly on a purchase order.
What to plan before ordering
Check the unit against your current installation before ordering. The package includes a 5.9-foot power cord for the TeamConnect Bar S, but the source data does not specify the plug type, so ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm the cord suits the socket you will use. The box also contains a quick guide and a safety guide, and the product carries a 2-year warranty from the manufacturer.
Send article number 700130 and the number of rooms to SmartRooms Qatar and request a quote. The team will confirm stock and estimated lead time within the quotation, and can work with a purchase order or a government tender where required.

Questions about Power Supply TC Bar S
What is the Sennheiser Power Supply TC Bar S used for?
It is the external power supply in the TC Bar accessories range, designed for the TeamConnect Bar S video conferencing bar. It converts mains AC input to a 15 V DC output rated at 45 W. Facilities teams usually order it as a spare for a meeting room or as a replacement for a failed unit, matched by article number 700130.
Is article 700130 the right power supply for my TeamConnect Bar S?
Article 700130 is the power supply listed for the TeamConnect Bar S in the TC Bar accessories series. Before ordering, check the label on your existing supply and send the details to the SmartRooms Qatar team, who can confirm the match in the quotation.
Does this power supply work with Qatar's 240 V mains?
The input range is 100 to 240 V AC, which covers Qatar's 240 V mains supply. The source data does not list the plug type, so confirm that the included power cord suits your wall socket before installation, especially if you are ordering several units for one site.
What output does the TC Bar S power supply provide?
It provides a 15 V DC output with a rated output power of 45 W. Use these two figures to check against the power requirements of the equipment it serves. If you are unsure whether the rating suits your setup, send the device details to SmartRooms Qatar before ordering.
Can it be installed in a hot comms room during Qatar summers?
The rated operating temperature is 0 to 40 °C (32 to 104 °F), and relative humidity is 20 to 98 percent, non-condensing. Summer temperatures in Doha can exceed 40 °C, so an unventilated cabinet that runs hotter is outside the rated range. Confirm the installation location with the SmartRooms Qatar team first.
What comes in the box with this power supply?
The package includes one 5.9-foot power cord for the TeamConnect Bar S, a quick guide and a safety guide. The source data does not specify a plug type, so ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm the cord before ordering several units for the same site.
Is a battery included with the power supply?
No. The manufacturer data states that no battery is included with this item. It is a mains power supply that draws power from the wall socket, so you do not need to plan for a separate battery when installing it.
What warranty applies to this power supply?
The manufacturer provides a 2-year warranty on the Power Supply TC Bar S. Products supplied by SmartRooms Qatar are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. When a school or government department buys several units, keep the article number, quotation and purchase order together to make later follow-up straightforward.
Is it worth keeping a spare supply for a meeting room in West Bay?
A spare is worth considering when the room depends on daily video calls with teams abroad. A matched spare with article number 700130 means a failed supply does not leave the room without its bar while a replacement is sourced. Ask for a quotation that includes the spare alongside the room equipment.
How should a school in Al Rayyan order power supplies for several classrooms?
Count the TeamConnect Bar S units first, then order one 700130 for each room so every classroom uses the same article number. The school can raise one purchase order for the full quantity and request a single quotation. Ask for the estimated lead time within the quotation, since it depends on stock.
Can a government ministry buy this item through an LPO or tender?
Yes. SmartRooms Qatar accepts purchase orders (LPOs), government tenders including those on Monaqasat, and payment by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. Send article number 700130 and the required quantity, and the team will issue a quotation, usually within one working day.
Does the power supply suit humid coastal conditions in Lusail?
The rated relative humidity is 20 to 98 percent, non-condensing, for both operation and storage. Store spare units in a dry room and do not fit a unit that shows condensation. For a hotel meeting room in Lusail or The Pearl, discuss the installation environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering.
