TeamConnect Bar M AUS/NZS

What the AUS/NZS variant brings to a mid-sized room

The TeamConnect Bar M AUS/NZS packs a 4K camera, six microphones and four speakers into one bar that measures 750 mm long, 95 mm high and 71 mm wide, and weighs 2.5 kg. Article number 700113 identifies it as the AUS/NZS regional variant, so quote this code when you order. Because capture and playback sit in a single unit, a room needs one device on the wall or table rather than a camera, a speakerphone and a separate audio box.

Camera and audio figures that shape the meeting

The camera records UHD 2160p (4K) with a 120° diagonal and 115° horizontal field of view, using electronic pan, tilt and zoom with 1.5x digital zoom. Autoframing and person tiling keep participants visible without manual adjustment. The microphones pick up voices up to 4.5 m away, and the built-in DSP adjusts to the room's acoustics. The speakers reach 84 dB SPL across a 100 Hz to 14.5 kHz range, with an audio frequency response of 100 Hz to 18 kHz.

• Video: UHD 2160p (4K) camera, ePTZ, 1.5x digital zoom
• Audio: six microphones, four speakers, 84 dB SPL maximum
• Connectivity: two HDMI 2.0 outputs, USB, RJ45 Ethernet, Dante
• Power: 18 V DC input, maximum 4 A, up to 72 W

Connecting it to your platforms and control systems

The bar is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom, and approved for third-party control systems from Barco, Crestron, Extron and Q-Sys. Certification for Tencent and DingTalk platforms is still pending, so confirm those with the SmartRooms Qatar team before you specify them. Dante support lets you add extension microphones or a second external USB camera, which helps in long boardrooms or lecture spaces where one lens cannot cover every seat. Remote control runs through Sennheiser DeviceHub, with encrypted control communication and password protection enabled by default.

Where it fits in Qatar

A boardroom in West Bay or Msheireb, where participants sit within about 4.5 m of the bar, is a typical match for this model. A corporate team in Lusail that holds Teams calls with a head office abroad will benefit from autoframing, which keeps the active speaker in view. In Education City, a training room can use a Dante extension to add a second external USB camera that covers a presenter area away from the main lens.

Planning the installation

The operating range is 0 °C to 40 °C with 0 to 75 % relative humidity, non-condensing. Summer temperatures in Qatar regularly pass 45 °C, so install the bar in an air-conditioned room and keep it out of direct sunlight from windows. The 18 V DC power supply unit, model S050-1A150300M2, is in the box, and the SmartRooms Qatar team will confirm the power arrangement for your site when we quote. The package includes a mounting bracket with drilling template, so book a free site survey before drilling into walls that will carry the 2.5 kg bar.
