TeamConnect Bar M CN

What the TeamConnect Bar M CN brings into one room

The TeamConnect Bar M CN is a single video bar that houses the camera, microphone array and speakers in one unit, sized for mid-sized meeting rooms. This is the CN regional variant, article number 700114. Instead of mounting a separate camera, ceiling microphones and a soundbar, a room can handle capture and playback from one position on the wall or table.

Camera, microphones and sound quality

A 4K UHD camera with a 120 degree diagonal and 115 degree horizontal field of view sits in the bar. Autoframing and person tiling keep participants in view, and the 1.5x digital zoom is listed as Microsoft Teams certified. Six MEMS microphones offer a pickup range of 4.5 m. The four speakers cover 100 Hz to 14.5 kHz, with a maximum sound pressure level of 84 dB SPL and a dynamic range of 69 dB(A). Built-in DSP optimises the sound for the room, which helps where hard surfaces make speech harder to follow.

Connections and expansion options

Two HDMI 2.0 outputs connect to displays, while USB and an RJ45 Ethernet port handle computer and network connections. Dante support lets you add extension microphones or a second external USB camera, which is useful when a room grows beyond its original layout. The specification also lists Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi to IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac. Power comes from an 18 V DC input rated at a maximum of 4 A, and maximum consumption is 72 W. The power supply unit is included in the box.

Where it fits in Qatar

• Ministry and authority boardrooms in West Bay or Msheireb, where calls with other agencies need clear capture and password-protected remote management.
• Lecture and training rooms in Education City, where an instructor moves across the front of the room and the camera follows the speaker.
• Company meeting rooms in Lusail or The Pearl, linking Doha staff with teams abroad, with Ethernet for a stable network path and a second camera for a longer table.

What to plan before installation

Measure the room and check that the bar sits at a height where the camera sees every seat. The operating range is 0 to 40 degrees C at 0 to 75 percent relative humidity, non-condensing, so install it in an air-conditioned room away from direct sun through windows. Outside temperatures in Qatar can pass 45 degrees C in summer, so confirm that room cooling keeps the space within the operating range. The unit weighs 2,500 g and measures 750 mm by 71 mm by 95 mm. Before ordering, confirm with the SmartRooms Qatar team that the supplied power supply suits Qatar's 240 V, 50 Hz mains. Also confirm that the CN variant matches your deployment, because the regional variants differ in their Bluetooth frequency bands.
