One bar for camera, microphones and speakers

The Sennheiser TeamConnect Bar M UK, article number 700112, is the UK version of the TeamConnect Bar M series. The unit measures 750 mm long, 71 mm wide and 95 mm high, and weighs 2.5 kg. Six MEMS microphones and four speakers sit inside the bar alongside a 4K camera, so one device handles audio and video for a mid-sized room.

Camera and audio performance that matters in a meeting

The camera records at UHD 2160p (4K) with a 120° diagonal and 115° horizontal field of view. It uses ePTZ technology with 1.5x digital zoom, and auto-framing with person tiling keeps each participant visible as people move. The microphones pick up voices up to 4.5 m away. Beamforming supports presenters who move around the room, and built-in DSP adjusts the sound to the room's acoustics. The frequency range is 100 Hz to 14.5 kHz and the audio frequency response is 100 Hz to 18 kHz. Dynamic range is 69 dB(A) and maximum sound pressure level is 84 dB SPL.

Connecting the bar to your room systems

The bar provides two HDMI 2.0 outputs, USB and an RJ45 Ethernet connector. Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi supporting IEEE 802.11a /b /g /n /ac are also on board. Setup starts with a single USB cable. Dante support lets you add extension microphones or a second external USB camera as the room grows. Remote management runs through Sennheiser DeviceHub, with encrypted control communication and password protection enabled by default.

For third-party control, the bar is certified with Barco, Crestron, Extron and Q-Sys media control systems. It is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Certification for Tencent and DingTalk is still pending, so confirm those platforms before you specify the unit for them.

Planning a Qatar meeting room install

Three situations suit this model well:

• A mid-sized boardroom in West Bay or Msheireb, where one bar replaces a separate camera, microphone array and speaker set above the display.
• A classroom or seminar room at a private school or training centre in Education City or Al Wakrah, where the 4.5 m pickup range covers the front of the room.
• A collaboration room in an energy or industrial company office in the Industrial Area or Ras Laffan, linking local teams with colleagues abroad.

The operating range is 0 °C to 40 °C with humidity up to 75% non-condensing. Summer temperatures in Qatar often exceed 45 °C, so the bar belongs in an air-conditioned room, away from direct sun through windows. Storage is rated from -25 °C to 70 °C.

Before wall mounting, arrange a free site survey to check display height, cable routing and the socket position for the included power supply, rated 18 V DC at up to 4 A with a maximum consumption of 72 W. The box includes a drilling template, mounting bracket and screws. Wall, VESA, tabletop and freestanding mounting are all supported.
