What the MeetingBar A30 does in a medium room

The Yealink MeetingBar A30 is an all-in-one video conference bar. Cameras, microphones and speakers sit in a single unit that mounts with the display, so a room of roughly 10 to 15 people can be set up without a separate PC or a rack of equipment. It is built for medium-sized rooms, where a single wide lens leaves faces small and quieter voices at the far end of the table are hard to hear.

Two cameras and framing that follows the room

The A30 uses two 8 MP cameras. The wide camera has a 120° field of view, so everyone around the table is in shot without moving the bar. The telephoto camera offers 10x hybrid zoom (3.5x optical and 3x digital) at a 90° field of view, which suits a close view of a presenter or a whiteboard at the front of the room. Auto Framing adjusts to the number and position of attendees, Speaker Tracking switches to whoever is talking, and Picture-in-Picture shows the active speaker in a separate window beside the group view. An electric privacy shutter covers the camera when it is not needed.

Audio for a room up to 6 metres across

Eight MEMS microphones form the pickup array, with a stated voice pickup range of 6 metres. Full-duplex operation, echo cancellation and automatic gain control allow both ends of a call to talk without cutting each other out. AI-based noise reduction is designed to remove keyboard clatter, mouse clicks and footsteps from the audio. The forward-facing speakers are rated at 10 W, with a 16 W maximum.

Wireless presentation with the WPP30 pod needs a wired network, because the wireless hotspot and Wi-Fi cannot run at the same time. Up to four WPP30 pods are supported.
