What the 46VW25E is built to do

The Hisense 46VW25E is a 46-inch LCD panel made for tiling into a video wall. Each unit has a 1920 x 1080 ADS panel with DLED backlighting, and it is intended for long-running display work rather than occasional viewing. Hisense positions the VW25E series for monitoring centres, command rooms, conference spaces and public areas. This model suits projects where several matched screens must present one picture.

Picture and bezel figures that matter when tiling

On a video wall, the bezel is the first thing the eye notices. This panel measures 1.8 mm on the top and left edges and 1.1 mm on the right and bottom, so gaps between neighbouring screens stay small when units sit edge to edge. Typical brightness is 500 nits and typical contrast is 1,200:1. The 25% haze anti-glare finish cuts reflections from windows and ceiling lights, and Hisense states it also helps perceived contrast.

Software, connections and remote management

The panel runs Android 11 on an ARM Cortex-A55 quad-core processor with 2GB DDR4 memory and 16GB eMMC storage. Third-party apps can be installed, and the firmware can be updated over the air. VisionInfo is built in, allowing content and devices to be managed remotely. The on-screen menu includes Arabic alongside English, French, Spanish and other languages, which helps bilingual offices in Doha.

Inputs are three HDMI 2.0 ports, a USB 2.0 Type-A port, RS232 and LAN over RJ45, and an IR input. The HDMI output passes the signal to the next panel, and daisy chaining has no quantity limit, so no video splitter is needed. The unit has no built-in speakers; audio leaves through a 3.5mm output for an external sound system.
