The LG 47WV30BR is a 47-inch 16:9 LCD panel built for tiled video walls, with 1366 x 768 resolution, 700 cd/m2 brightness and a 6.3 mm seam when panels sit side by side. Its Shine-Out technology targets lobbies and windows where sunlight washes out screens. It suits corporate lobbies, control rooms and retail fronts across Qatar that need one matching image from several panels.
A narrow-bezel LCD panel built for tiled video walls
The LG 47WV30BR is a 47-inch LCD display from the WV30B series, made to sit in a grid with identical panels so that several screens behave as one large picture. Its bezels measure 4.2 mm on the top and left and 2.7 mm on the bottom and right. When panels are placed side by side, the visible seam is 6.3 mm, which keeps the wall looking continuous rather than like a set of separate monitors.
Picture, brightness and image quality
Each panel has a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 1366 x 768 resolution. That is HD rather than full HD, so it suits menus, schedules, dashboards, looping video and presentations built for that size. The panel is rated at 700 cd/m2 brightness and includes local dimming, 8-bit colour, Wide Colour Control and Image Sticking Minimization, which the data lists as covering white wash and colour wash. The response time is 9 ms and the viewing angle is 178 x 178 degrees.
LG's Shine-Out technology is aimed at bright spaces. According to the manufacturer, it reflects ambient light away from the viewer so that images stay visible under direct sunlight and strong interior lighting. That matters for shop fronts, glazed lobbies and exhibition stands where conventional screens lose contrast.
Where it fits in Qatar
A hotel lobby in West Bay might use a grid of these panels to show arrivals information and welcome content, with the narrow seam keeping the image uniform across the reception wall. A shopping frontage in The Pearl or Msheireb could place panels facing the street, where Shine-Out helps the content remain readable in daylight. A training room in Education City or a briefing room at a government authority in Doha could use a wall of panels for shared dashboards during meetings.
Connections, power and mounting
The rear panel provides one HDMI 1.3 input with Deep Color, one DVI input and one DVI output, one RGB input and one RGB output on D-sub 15-pin connectors, a PC audio input, USB, LAN, and RS-232C control input and output, together with an external IR input. The power supply is listed as 100-240V at 50/60Hz, which covers Qatar's 240 V, 50 Hz mains. Power consumption is listed at 122.0 W when on and 0.50 W on standby. Each panel has built-in audio rated at 10 W + 10 W with bass, treble and balance controls.
The VESA mounting pattern is 800 x 400. Confirm that your bracket or frame matches it and can carry the combined weight of the array.
What to plan before ordering
- Decide the grid size and check that the seam suits your viewing distance.
- Confirm the environment. The data sheet does not list an operating temperature range, so ask our team before placing panels near windows, where summer temperatures in Doha can exceed 45°C.
- Choose the sources and control method, and confirm the cabling and adapters for your devices.
- Book a free site survey so that wall measurements, mounting and power circuits are checked before installation.
Quotations are usually issued within one working day. Schools, ministries and government bodies can order by purchase order (LPO) or through government tenders, including Monaqasat.
